Abstract:
An intelligent electronic device (IED) is connected to interact with a power system to provide protection, control, and/or monitoring capabilities for the power system. The device includes a power system interface circuit for communicating with the power system and a processor coupled to the power system interface circuit. The device further includes memory storing software instructions performed by the processor for receiving electronic mail from a remote system through a communication link and for automatically transmitting electronic mail to the remote system through the communication link. The electronic mail may include information relating to operation of the power system or to operation of the intelligent electronic device.
Abstract:
An upright vacuum cleaner (A) includes an upright housing section (B) and a nozzle section (C). A cyclonic airflow dirt and dust separating chamber (54) is defined in said upright housing section. A suction source (E) pulls air and entrained dirt, dust, and other contaminants through a main suction opening (26) formed in the underside (24) of the nozzle and into the cyclonic airflow chamber (54). The cyclonic airflow chamber causes the suction airstream to travel in a cyclonic path such that the entrained contaminants are separated therefrom and deposited into a dirt container (52) that defines the chamber (54). A main filter element (K) filters residual contaminants from the suction airstream between the chamber and the suction source. The main filter element is preferably made from high-density polyethylene porous filter media. A final filter assembly (F) filters the suction airstream discharged by the suction source to ensure that the air discharged into the atmosphere is contaminant free, including those contaminants introduced into the airstream by the suction source itself.
Abstract:
A rake arm assembly for supporting a finger wheel on a side delivery rake such as a V-rake. The rake arm assembly has a shaft journaled under a support frame for the finger wheels. One end of the shaft is attached to a rake arm and the other end to a crank arm. A torsion spring on the shaft applies a torque to the rake arm reducing the weight of the finger wheel on the ground over a wide vertical range so that the finger wheel stays in contact with the ground and rides over mounds without bending the fingers.
Abstract:
An improved method for fixing color of a dyed textile fabric by coating a dyed textile with an acrylamide polymer which has been reacted with glyoxal at a mole ratio of glyoxal to polymer of at least 0.8:1. Preferably the dyed textile fabric has been pre-coated with an anionic polymer.
Abstract:
In various embodiments, there is provided a different methods of right sizing. The method would provide for the stylist having a matrix chart outlining as a percentage of or total amount of ingredients needed to create a mixture based on customer characteristics and/or service requested. The stylist would then be capable of creating a more accurate batch based on the matrix outline. The right-sizing of the mixture formula can be done by the stylist themselves or automatically done by a computer-driven system.
Abstract:
A protective cover for a flat screen television that includes an ornamental appearance. The protective cover includes a rectangular frame having a front portion with a central opening that rests flush against the border of a television, and a side portion that extends rearward from the front portion and covers the sides of the television. The protective cover can be press fitted to a flat panel display or can include one or more fasteners thereon for securement to the front portion of a flat panel display. The side portion includes one or more apertures for receiving decorative objects, and further includes openings for providing access to the controls of the flat panel display. The frame can include any of various colors, patterns, or logos thereon so as to provide a customized appearance suited to the décor of the room in which the television is located.
Abstract:
Aspects of the invention provide for a mesh network management system. In one embodiment, a system is disclosed having: at least one computing device adapted to manage a wireless mesh network by performing the actions comprising: sending data including a plurality of fragments over a network to a plurality of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) nodes, wherein the data is sent a predetermined number of times; receiving, from the plurality of AMI nodes, a message regarding the plurality of fragments of the data; and sending, in response to receiving the message, fragments of the data that were not received by the plurality of AMI nodes.
Abstract:
A primary and branch graft deployment delivery system (70) comprises a primary graft (72) having a branch port opening or member (75), a retractable primary sheath containing the primary graft, an outer tube (60) within the retractable primary sheath and within the primary graft, an inner tube (61) within the outer tube, a cap (54 or 71) coupled to the inner tube and configured to retain at least a portion of a proximal area (73) of the primary graft in a radially compressed configuration. The system further comprises a branch graft (89) advanceable through the branch graft port member and further comprising a snap connector member (90) associated with the branch graft, the snap connector member being configured to frictionally engage the port member, the engagement of the snap connector to the port member forms a connection between the proximal end of the branch graft and the primary graft.
