摘要： Windrow mergers employ one or more design features as described herein in connection with a suspension assembly that allows the pickup head to rise or fall relative to a frame of the merger. One feature maintains a substantially constant force or pressure between a pickup head of the merger and the terrain regardless of a height of the head. Another feature maintains a substantially constant hydraulic pressure in a hydraulic actuator that connects the pickup head to a frame assembly of the merger. Still another feature employs a hydraulic pump driven by a power takeoff (PTO) of the tractor to charge and discharge a hydraulic actuator arranged to raise and lower the pickup head of the merger between an upper limit and a lower limit.

The main beam includes a first member pivotally attached to a second member, and the angle between the first and second members is adjustable. The arm assembly further includes a first rake wheel unit connected to the first member and a second rake wheel unit connected to the second member. The arm assembly attaches to the frame such that in a work position, the first and second rake wheel units are disposed substantially horizontally extended with respect to frame, and in a transport position, the first and second rake wheel units are disposed substantially vertically above the frame.

摘要： The present invention regards a rake trolley with adjustable working widths, suitable for three point hitch finger wheel hay rakes. The trolley includes a transverse frame member. A pair of rake arms are connected to a pair of movable heads or supports, and a raising and lowering assembly is interconnected between the frame member and each rake head. The raising and lowering assembly includes a linkage, with a connector member on each side of the linkage extending between the linkage and one of the rake heads. A hydraulic cylinder assembly is interconnected with the linkage for moving it between a first position in which the rake arms are pivoted to a lowered, or working position, and a second position in which the rake arms are pivoted to a raised, or transport, position. The connector members are adjustable in length, to accommodate connection of the rake heads to varying positions along the length of the frame member.
