Abstract:
A non-aqueous electrolyte battery includes: a positive electrode containing a lithium phosphate compound having an olivine structure; a negative electrode containing a negative electrode active material capable of doping and dedoping lithium; and a non-aqueous electrolyte, the non-aqueous electrolyte containing a cyclic carbonate derivative represented by the following formula (1) and 1,2-dimethoxyethane wherein R1 to R4 each independently represents a hydrogen group, a fluorine group, an alkyl group or a fluoroalkyl group, and at least one of R1 to R4 contains fluorine.
Abstract:
An input apparatus reads a patient ID from an ID card and transmits it to a computer. On the basis of the patient ID, the computer obtains corresponding patient information containing a photograph of the patient's face and the patient's name, from a medical database, and then transmits the patient information to the digital camera together with the patient ID. The digital camera displays the patient information to enable confirmation of the patient to be photographed. After the patient has been confirmed, the patient ID is filled in a header part of an image file for the image photographed using the digital camera, and the image file is transmitted to the medical database or the like. Thus, the input of the identification information input before photographing and the subject to be photographed can be easily confirmed.
Abstract:
A recording apparatus includes a communications device which can receive from another communications apparatus by wireless an image-capturing condition of restricting an image-capturing process or a sound recording condition of restricting a sound recording process, and a device which performs an image-capturing or sound recording process according to the received image-capturing condition or sound recording condition. Thus, a user can automatically set a recording function of a recording apparatus in a restricted state without special care in a position where image-capturing, sound recording, etc. are prohibited, thereby recording on an allowed condition. Since it further includes a communications device which can receive by wireless from another communications apparatus a reproducing condition of restricting a reproducing function of an image, and a reproducing device which reproduces an image according to the received reproducing condition, an available function can be used by easily specifying a user of the communications apparatus.
Abstract:
A stereoscopic video processing apparatus is constituted by: a video input section, for receiving input of stereoscopic videos constituted by a plurality of frames, which are viewable stereoscopically; a scene detecting section, for detecting positions within the stereoscopic videos at which scene changes occur; and a perceived depth adjusting section, for administering perceived depth adjusting processes that adjust the perceived depths of the stereoscopic videos such that the perceived depth changes gradually at the positions at which scene changes occur.
Abstract:
A stereoscopic display apparatus displays a catalog of images as planar images or stereoscopic images, and at least one of the images is selected from the displayed catalog. The stereoscopic display apparatus then converts the stereoscopic appearance of the at least one selected image.
Abstract:
A stereoscopic image display apparatus is constituted by: an image obtaining section for obtaining a plurality of images, which are obtained by photography of a subject from different positions; a distance measuring section, for measuring the distance to the subject; a stereoscopic image generating section, for generating a stereoscopic image for three dimensional display from the plurality of images; a display region generating section, for generating display regions that display the images in manners corresponding to the distance, when the display regions are displayed overlapped in the stereoscopic image; and a display section, for displaying the stereoscopic image, on which the display regions are overlapped.
Abstract:
When a plurality of image communication apparatuses, especially digital cameras, communicate images, each of the users of the receiving digital cameras can pull desired images from an image transmitting camera. In an image communicating method in which an image can be communicated by wireless in a server-client system, an image is displayed on a server camera, and an image is selected from among displayed images for transmission to a client camera. Pressing of the release button of the client camera instructs the client camera to transmit to the server camera a request to send an image to the server camera. The client camera transmits the request to send an image to the server camera. The server camera transmits the selected image to the client camera. Thus, the user of the client camera can obtain a desired image from the server camera.
Abstract:
A print system comprises a digital camera and a printer. The digital camera photographs a subject and produces image data. Print data including print-setting data and printing data is produced from the image data and print setting information. The digital camera is provided with a high-speed radio I/F and a low-speed radio I/F. The printer is also provided with a high-speed radio I/F and a low-speed radio I/F. The setting data is transferred from the digital camera to the printer through the low-speed radio I/F. The printing data is transferred from the digital camera to the printer through the high-speed radio I/F. The printer prints an image of the subject on the basis of the print data transferred from the digital camera to the printer.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an image taking main unit that prevents entry of foreign matter and has excellent usability even when an image taking lens unit is not attached thereto. The image taking main unit has a concave mount to which the image taking lens unit with an image taking optical system and an imaging device is removably attached and receives image signals from the image taking lens unit attached thereto to record the image signals therein. The image taking main unit also has a barrier and an electronic device disposed on the barrier. The barrier covers an opening of the mount and retracts into the concave portion of the mount by being pressed by the image taking lens unit when the image taking lens unit is attached to the image taking main unit.
Abstract:
An image generating apparatus generating image data of a plurality of different viewpoints, comprises: a file converting device which records the image data of each viewpoint in a general-purpose image file format, and records moving image regeneration information including a regeneration time interval for regenerating each image as a moving image, and viewpoint information for regenerating each image as a three-dimensional image in a file header portion at the beginning of the general-purpose image file. By recording an image of a plurality of viewpoints along with the viewpoint information in a general-purpose moving image format, the exclusive-use regenerating apparatus becomes able to regenerate and display a three-dimensional image and a moving image, and the general-purpose regenerating apparatus becomes able to regenerate as a moving image.
