Thus, a user can automatically set a recording function of a recording apparatus in a restricted state without special care in a position where image-capturing, sound recording, etc. are prohibited, thereby recording on an allowed condition. Since it further includes a communications device which can receive by wireless from another communications apparatus a reproducing condition of restricting a reproducing function of an image, and a reproducing device which reproduces an image according to the received reproducing condition, an available function can be used by easily specifying a user of the communications apparatus.

摘要： There are provided: a communicating unit (transmitting and receiving unit) that is capable of transmitting and receiving information wirelessly to and from a plurality of electronic cameras and receives identification information peculiar to a device from the electronic cameras; an inputting unit that a user uses to input the identification information peculiar to a device; and a collating unit (information processing unit) for collating the received identification information peculiar to a device with the inputted identification information peculiar to a device. If both pieces of identification information coincide with each other as a result of the collation, the communication device selects a communication device which has transmitted the identification information coinciding with the inputted identification information to transmit information to the communication device thereafter, devices of users wishing to communicate with each other can be easily specified when a plurality of communication devices are connected wirelessly to transmit and receive information. Furthermore, since there are provided an information obtaining unit (wireless interface or the like) for obtaining information owned by a user; a recording unit for recording the information obtained by the information obtaining unit; a first communicating unit (communication line interface) for reading out the information recorded by the recording unit to transmit the information to a destination desired by the user; and a second communicating unit (communication line interface) for transmitting information on a result of the first communicating unit (communication line interface) transmitting the information to a first communication device (portable terminal or the like) on the user side, it becomes possible to notify a user whether or not information that should be transmitted has been surely transmitted.

When the image file is reproduced, header data in a first header data recording area at the leading end is read and first image data that has been recorded in the first image data recording area is reproduced. If an image file reproducing apparatus is one that can reproduce second image data that has been recorded in the second data area, then the second image data is read from the second area and reproduced. The first image data is data that has undergone JPEG compression, and the second image data is data that has not been compressed. Since the compressed first image data and uncompressed second image data can be stored in one file, an increase in number of files can be reduced even if there is an increase in types of image format.

摘要： An input apparatus reads a patient ID from an ID card and transmits it to a computer. On the basis of the patient ID, the computer obtains corresponding patient information containing a photograph of the patient's face and the patient's name, from a medical database, and then transmits the patient information to the digital camera together with the patient ID. The digital camera displays the patient information on the liquid crystal monitor to enable confirmation of the patient, who is a subject to be photographed. After the patient has been confirmed, the patient ID is filled in a header part of an image file for the image photographed using the digital camera, and the image file is transmitted to the medical database or the like. Thus, when identification information on the subject is recorded in connection with the photographed image, the input of the identification information is simplified, and the correspondence between the subject identification information input before photographing and the subject to be photographed can be easily confirmed. Further, the digital camera obtains locational information from a car navigation apparatus. The locational information is classified into added-to-image information added to the subject image (GPS information indicative of latitude, longitude, and altitude) and display information associated with the added-to-image information (the place name corresponding to the GPS information). The digital camera stores the location information obtained in a non-volatile memory and displays the display information (place name) of the locational information on the liquid crystal monitor of the camera. Subsequently, after photographing has been completed, the added-to-image information (GPS information) of the locational information stored in the non-volatile memory in connection with the image. Thus, if additional information input from an external device is recorded in connection with the subject image, the camera can be used to easily check what added-to-image information is used, whether or not the added-to-image information is correct as information to be added to the subject image, and the like.
