Abstract:
A Universal Serial Bus (USB) charging circuit for a computer includes a USB interface, a USB power terminal, a standby power terminal, a switch unit, a IC chip, and a control unit. The control unit disconnects the USB interface from the standby power terminal when receiving a high voltage level from the system power terminal or a first control signal from the IC chip. The control unit connects the standby power terminal supply to the USB interface when receiving a second control signal from the IC chip and the first switch signal from the switch unit; the control unit disconnects the standby power terminal supply from the USB interface when receiving a second control signal from the IC chip and the second switch signal from the switch unit.
Abstract:
An audio system includes an audio client device and an access point. The audio client device includes a buffer, a clock generator, a bus controller, a bus receiver, and a control module. The buffer is configured to receive a stream of samples of audio data. The clock generator is configured to generate a first clock signal. The bus controller is configured to read samples from the buffer for transmission across a bus using the first clock signal. The bus receiver is configured to receive samples from the bus controller and output a sampling clock along with each sample. The control module is configured to analyze activity of the buffer and modify operation of the bus controller to synchronize the sampling clock with a remote sampling clock. The access point includes an audio content module, a decoding module, and a network interface that wirelessly transmits the stream of samples.
Abstract:
An engineering change order (ECO) modifying an IC having spare cell instances is implemented by converting active cell instances implementing portions of the IC to be deleted into additional spare cell instances, by creating a technology independent behavioral model of portions of the IC to be added, by selecting spare cell instances to implement the behavior model, and by routing nets to the selected spare cell instances in a way that minimizes a number of metal layers of the IC that are modified.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for determining a trend in vertical track modulus are described. Vertical deflection data is collected along a particular section of railroad track. A first set of vertical track modulus is determined, based in part, on the collected vertical deflection data. At a second time, vertical deflection data is again collected along the particular section of railroad track to be used in determining a second set of vertical track modulus. At least the first and second sets of vertical track modulus are analyzed to determine a mathematical algorithm that facilitates developing a trend in the vertical track modulus of the railroad track.
Abstract:
A technique for producing microbial cellulose is provided, including: preparing a liquid medium for microbial cultivation in a container; horizontally rotating multiple hollow tubes that are fitted together or separated from one another, so that each of the hollow tubes is alternately partially immersed in the liquid medium and partially exposed above the horizontal surface of the liquid medium; wherein each of the hollow tubes has a rough outer surface and a smooth inner surface, so as to allow microorganisms to form microbial cellulose on the outer surface of each hollow tube, as well as forming sheets of microbial cellulose on the horizontal surface of the liquid medium not being disturbed by the hollow tubes, and removing the microbial cellulose from the outer surfaces of the hollow tubes in order to obtain tubular microbial cellulose. In addition, the sheets of microbial cellulose are also harvested from the liquid medium.
Abstract:
A shell of an electronic device includes a front cover, a rear cover, and a latching assembly. The front cover includes two first sidewalls. The rear cover includes two first borders. The latching assembly includes two first latching members, two spacers, and two groups of second latching members. The first latching members define a number of latch-receiving portions. The first latching members are fixed to the inner surface of first sidewall with a corresponding spacer intervened therebetween. The second latching member is mounted to the inner surface. Each of the second latching members includes a sliding pole and a cap. Each of the latch-receiving portion includes a sliding portion forming an entrance for a corresponding second latching member sliding into the latch-receiving portion, and a latching portion communicating with the sliding portion, which is an elongate slot parallel to the length direction of the first latching member.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for recording an event in a virtual world. The method includes acquiring camera view regions of avatars joining the event; identifying one or more key avatars and/or key objects based on information about the targets in the camera view regions of the avatars; setting one or more recorders for the identified one or more key avatars and/or key objects for recording the event such that the one or more key avatars and/or key objects are located in the camera view regions of the one or more recorders. The apparatus includes devices configured to perform the steps of the method.
Abstract:
A method and device for adjusting communications power are used for detecting a communications condition between a connection port and a connection target, and a communications-supporting power of the connection port that includes at least one of a transmitting power and a receiving power is adjusted according to a detected communications condition. Therefore, accuracy of data transmission and reception is ensured, and power used for data transmission and reception is reduced.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for determining a trend in vertical track modulus are disclosed in accordance with embodiments of the present invention.
Abstract:
An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for improving the loading time of a web page. The present invention includes selecting archivable objects in a web page for inclusion in an archive file, the web page referencing at least one archivable object and generating the archive file from the selected archivable objects. A web page is generated, the web page configured to display in a script enabled web browser, wherein the web page comprises executable code configured to retrieve the archive file, executable code configured to unpackage the archivable objects from the archive file, and executable code configured to render the web page in a web browser using the unpackaged archivable objects from the archive file. Beneficially, the apparatus, system, and method improve the load time for web pages.
