Provided are an image processing apparatus and method for processing images. The image processing apparatus is connected to at least one camera and includes: a performance calculating unit configured to calculate a decoding performance of the at least one camera based on information about at least one of a codec, a resolution and a frame rate of image frames which are received from the at least one camera, and a filtering unit configured to filter the received image frames to select image frames for decoding, based on a result of the calculation of the decoding performance of the at least one camera.

Provided are a digital image processing apparatus which corrects a position of each of a plurality of template motion vectors of an image frame of a captured image by considering relative positions of neighboring motion vectors respectively similar to each of the template motion vectors, calculates a score of each of the template motion vectors by considering a number of the neighboring motion vectors, and selects a global motion vector representing the image frame based on the score, and a method of estimating a global motion of an image to stabilize the captured image using the global motion.

A method of generating an optimum parking path of an unmanned driving vehicle which is performed by a controller in the unmanned driving vehicle, wherein the controller changes a moving distance for a plurality of operations in a reference parking path, finds a parking path in which an average obstacle distance, which is an average distance between at least one near-to-path obstacle and the unmanned driving vehicle, is longest among a plurality of candidate parking paths, and sets the parking path having the longest average obstacle distance, as an optimum parking path in response to the longest average obstacle distance being longer than a predetermined limited distance.

A method and system for image stabilization through image processing, and a zoom camera including an image stabilization function. The method includes: determining whether an input image comprises a representative feature portion; sampling the representative feature portion to generate a sampled image if it is determined that the input image comprises the representative feature portion; enlarging the input image by an optical zooming, matching the enlarged input image with the sampled image, and obtaining a central coordinate of the enlarged input image and a central coordinate of the sampled image; and aligning an optical axis by calculating a difference between the central coordinate of the enlarged input image and the central coordinate of the sampled image.

An apparatus, a method, and a program for processing an image are provided. The apparatus includes: a determiner which determines an area corresponding to a white-saturation area included in a raw image based on raw data representing the raw image, wherein the raw image is obtained by photographing and is not processed; and a converter which selectively performs an image space frequency distribution conversion on a portion of the raw data that corresponds to the determined area corresponding to the white-saturation area. The converter reduces luminance changes of pixels which are not a preset reference pixel in the area corresponding to the white-saturation area.

Provided are a system for search and a method for operating thereof. The system for search includes: a preliminary data analysis part which extracts a variety of attributes through analysis of images being input, analyzes a trend about a category as information requested by a client with the image analysis result, and stores the trend analysis result as metadata; an index part which stores the image analysis result, and structuralizes, organizes and stores the stored metadata in order to easily search the metadata; and a search part which extracts trend information matching a category input by a client, from the index part and provides the trend information in a predetermined format.

Disclosed are a monitoring method and a system that display a log icon including event-related information to facilitate an intuitive confirmation of event information. The monitoring method includes: receiving a plurality of images from a plurality of image devices; displaying the images in a first region of a display; displaying information about the image devices related to the images, which are being displayed in the first region, in a second region of the display which is different from the first region; and generating a plurality of log icons including event information when a predetermined event is detected from the images which are being displayed in the first region; and displaying the log icons in a third region of the display which is different from the first and second regions.
