    Abstract: A system and method of simulating weight of a virtual object in a virtual environment includes receiving a weight adjusting profile in a handheld peripheral device. The ROM data may be divided into a plurality of data chunks and hashed to obtained unique key values. RAM data chunks with matching key values are replaced with pointers to the location of the data in the ROM.
