    Abstract: A method of an initiating station (ISTA) can include transmitting, to a responding station (RSTA), a first indicator indicating whether the ISTA supports one or more optional preamble puncture patterns. Additionally, the method can include receiving, from the RSTA, a second indicator indicating whether the RSTA supports optional preamble puncture patterns. Furthermore and responsive to determining that the ISTA and the RSTA support optional preamble puncture patterns, the method can further include starting, according to at least one of the optional preamble puncture patterns, a ranging session with the RSTA.

    Abstract: During operation, an electronic device may encrypt an A-control subfield. Then, the electronic device may provide the frame addressed to a second electronic device, where the frame includes a media access control (MAC) header and the MAC header includes the A-control subfield that is encrypted. Note that the encrypted A-control subfield may be jointly encrypted with data in a payload in the frame. Moreover, the encrypted A-control subfield may be separated from the payload in the frame by one or more additional subfields or may be adjacent to the payload in the frame. Furthermore, the MAC header may include an indicator that indicates whether the A-control subfield is encrypted. Additionally, the frame may include a preamble that indicates whether the A-control subfield is encrypted. The frame may be received by the second electronic device. After receiving the frame, the second electronic device may decrypt the A-control subfield.

    Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for obfuscation in a privacy beacon. An example method includes the first device receiving, from a second communication device, a beacon frame comprising a medium access control (MAC) header and an encrypted beacon frame field, the MAC header comprising an obfuscated timing synchronization field (TSF). The first device can select a key for de-obfuscating the TSF based at least in part on information associated with the beacon frame. The first device can de-obfuscate the TSF based at least in part on the key. The first device can decrypt the encrypted beacon frame field of the beacon frame based at least in part on information associated with the de-obfuscated TSF.

    Abstract: An electronic device may transmit beacons associated with multiple access points that are cohosted by the electronic device, and that provide concurrent links in different bands of frequencies.     Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed for group cast with retries (GCR) in a multi-link wireless communications system. In some embodiments, an access point (AP) multi-link device (MLD) can exchange information with a non-AP MLD to establish a GCR-multi-link operation (MLO) agreement corresponding to a group address, wherein the information includes, but is not limited to: a GCR primary link or a GCR primary link set of the AP MLD, an association identifier (AID) that corresponds to the group address. In some embodiments, the AP MLD can transmit a GCR frame subject to the GCR-MLO agreement, where the GCR frame includes a sequence number assigned from sequence number space (SNS)_GCR_MLO defined at a MLD level, and generate a Group Temporal Key (GTK)_GCR_ML at the MLD level, where the GTK_GCR_ML enables encryption and decryption of the GCR frame.

    Abstract: An electronic device may receive a frame associated with a second electronic device. This frame may include a MAC header with information specifying a request for a trigger or a trigger frame, and the information may include a suggested time interval during which the trigger or the trigger frame is to be provided and a requested resource allocation. For example, the MAC header may include an A-control field, and the A-control field may include the information or may include multiple A-MPDUs and one or more of the A-MPDUs (such as a last A-MPDU or all of the A-MPDUs) may include the information. Moreover, the time interval may begin at a previous transmission associated with the second electronic device, and the requested resource allocation may include a capacity. In response to the request, the electronic device may provide the trigger or the trigger frame addressed to the second electronic device.

    Abstract: Examples of the disclosure are directed to micro-machined ultrasonic transducers (MUTs) which can be embedded into a flexible band of a watch to detect touch, gestures, physiological signals, and transfer data. In some examples, the MUTs can include a piezoelectric material disposed between two electrodes and coupled to a base material having a plurality of cavities, to support motion of the transducer structure. In some examples, the MUTs can be coupled to multiplexing circuitry to stimulate, configure and control the MUTs. In some examples, the size, shape, and arrangement of transducers can be changed to improve characteristics associated with ultrasonic transmission. In some examples, the MUT array can be driven (e.g., by the CMOS circuitry) to beamform the transmitted and/or the received ultrasonic waves. In some examples, the one or more MUT arrays can be configured to generate haptic feedback via the flexible band.
