The layer including the organic compound has at least one tetracyano compound represented by at least one of Formula (1) or (2) below. In Formula (1), R1 to R4 are each a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group, a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic group, a nitro group, or a cyano group. In Formula (2), n represents an integer of 1 to 2, Mn+ is a metal ion or an onium cation, and R1 to R4 are as defined in Formula (1).
