    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) can include processing circuitry configured to decode physical broadcast channel (PBCH) information received from a base station (BS). The decoded PBCH information includes a scrambled PBCH payload and an unscrambled bit sequence. A scrambling sequence is generated based on time information signaling within the unscrambled bit sequence. The scrambled PBCH payload is de-scrambled using the scrambling sequence, to obtain master information block (MIB) information. System information block (SIB) information is decoded based on the MIB information. The decoded PBCH information includes cyclic redundancy check (CRC) information. The scrambled PBCH payload and the unscrambled bit sequence can be verified based on the CRC information. The time information signaling includes one or more bits of a system frame number (SFN).

    Abstract: Apparatuses, methods and storage media associated with components and implementations of wireless communication networks, and/or portions thereof, are disclosed herein. In embodiments, an apparatus for a next generation NodeB (gNB) may include processing circuitry to determine a number of resource element groups (REGs) to be included in a resource element group bundle (REGB) for a new radio physical downlink control channel (NR-PDCCH), and generate a signal that indicates the number of the REGs. The gNB may further include encoding circuitry, coupled with the processing circuitry, to encode the signal for transmission to a user equipment (UE). Other embodiments may be disclosed throughout.

    Abstract: Techniques discussed herein can facilitate handling of DL (Downlink) control and data channels having different numerologies in NR (New Radio). One example embodiment comprises an apparatus employable by a UE (User Equipment) configured to generate a report comprising capability information associated with the UE, wherein the capability information indicates whether the UE supports multiplexing of multiple numerologies within a common symbol in a FDM (Frequency Division Multiplexing)-based manner; process first higher layer signaling that configures one or more control resource sets of a NR (New Radio) PDCCH (Physical Downlink Control Channel), wherein the one or more control resource sets are associated with one or more numerologies in accordance with the UE capability information; and demodulate a NR PDSCH (Physical Downlink Shared Channel) from a resource distinct from resources of the NR PDCCH.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus are disclosed for a UE and its serving base station in 5G NR systems to signal channel scan or channel sensing to allow channel occupancy time (COT) sharing before transmissions. The COT sharing may be initiated by the base station or by the UE by asserting a CCA indication to enable channel sensing by a UE or base station, respectively. When the UE receives and decodes the asserted CCA indication during downlink transmission, the UE may perform channel sensing during a short interframe space (SIFS) between the downlink transmission and a scheduled uplink transmission. When the UE detects that the sensed RF energy across an intended transmission band is greater than an energy detect threshold, the UE may refrain from transmitting during the scheduled uplink transmission. Otherwise or when the CCA indication is de-asserted, the UE may transmit during the scheduled uplink transmission without performing channel sensing.
