Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure describe methods, apparatuses, storage media, and systems for adequate failure secondary cell group (SCG) reporting in New Radio (NR) involved networks. Various embodiments describe how to generate a sufficient SCG failure report so that a master node (MN) in the network may acknowledge the corresponding failed reference signal including its frequency and subcarrier spacing. Abstract: Techniques to configure a UE for a multi-connectivity handover with a source base station (SBS) and a target base station (TBS) include encoding UE capability information for transmission to the SBS, the UE capability information indicating tire UE supports multi-connectivity handover. A measurement report is encoded for transmission to the SBS, the measurement report triggered based on a measurement event configured by the SBS. RRC signaling is received from the SBS and includes a handover command for a multi-connectivity handover from the SBS to the TBS. The handover command is in response to the measurement report and the UE capability information. First UL data and second UL data are encoded for transmission during the multi-connectivity handover. The first UL data is encoded for transmission to the SBS and the second UL data is encoded for transmission to the TBS during the multi-connectivity handover.

Abstract: An apparatus of a user equipment (UE) includes processing circuitry, where to configure the UE for conditional handover between a source base station (SBS) and a target base station (TBS) in a wireless network, the processing circuitry is to decode measurement configuration information from the SBS. The measurement configuration information indicating a measurement event and a first threshold associated with the measurement event to trigger measurement reporting. A measurement report is encoded for transmission to the SBS, the measurement report triggered based on the first threshold. RRC signaling is received from the SBS. The RRC signaling includes a conditional handover command indicating a second threshold for the measurement event, the second threshold being higher than the first threshold. A handover from the SBS to the TBS is performed based on the conditional handover command after detecting that the measurement event satisfies the second threshold.

Abstract: A secondary node (SN) in evolved universal mobile telecommunications system terrestrial radio access network new radio-dual connectivity (EN-DC) with a master node (MN) can directly provide measurement configuration and receive measurement reports from a UE and/or coordinate measurement configuration and reporting with the MN. For example, only one measurement object configuration is allowed for a frequency, but both MN and SN can provide measurement reporting configurations on the same measurement object. The UE can send measurement reports for the same measurement object to both MN and SN or the node that configured the reporting criteria configuration. In another embodiment, only one node provides the reporting configuration but configures the UE to provide reporting to one node or both MN and SN.
