摘要: Embodiments of a User Equipment (UE), Generation Node-B (gNB) and methods of communication are disclosed herein. The UE may receive a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) that schedules a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) in a slot, and on a component carrier (CC) of a plurality of CCs, The PDCCH may include a total downlink assignment index (DAI) and a counter DAI for hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) feedback of the PDSCH. The total DAI may indicate a total number of pairs of CCs and slots for the HARQ-ACK feedback. The UE may encode the HARQ-ACK feedback to include a bit that indicates whether the PDSCH is successfully decoded. A size of the HARQ-ACK feedback may be based on the total DAI, and a position of the bit may be based on the counter DAI.

摘要: Techniques for contention window size (CWS) adaptation (CWSA) are discussed. One example apparatus can comprise a processor that can receive HARQ messages UEs in response to PDSCH transmissions in one or more reference subframes. The HARQ messages can comprise HARQ-ACK values that denote a HARQ-ACK state for a transport block associated with License Assisted Access (LAA) operation, wherein each of the HARQ-ACK states is one of a DTX state, an ACK state, a NACK state, or an “any” state. The processor can also; determine a metric value for each of the HARQ-ACK states; calculate a CWS adjustment metric based on the determined metric values; increase a CWS to a next higher allowed value when the CWS adjustment metric is greater than or equal to a threshold; and reset the CWS to a minimum allowed value when the CWS adjustment metric is less than the threshold.

摘要: Embodiments of a User Equipment (UE), Evolved Node-B (eNB) and methods for communication are generally described herein. The UE may receive downlink control information (DCI) that schedules a transport block (TB) that includes multiple code blocks. The UE may determine a transport block size (TBS) based on the DCI. The UE may attempt to decode the code blocks. The UE may, if the TBS is greater than a predetermined threshold: bundle the code blocks into code block groups for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgement; and transmit a HARQ bit per code block group. The UE may, if the TBS is less than or equal to the threshold, transmit a HARQ bit that indicates whether a decode failure has occurred for at least one of the code blocks of the TB.

One example apparatus at a user equipment can derive, for one or more subframes of a license assisted access (LAA) secondary cell (SCell), one or more channel measurements based on reference signals (e.g., cell-specific reference signals (CRS) or CSI reference signals (CSI-RS)), in those subframes; generate CSI that comprises a channel quality indicator (CQI) based on an average of the one or more channel measurements from multiple subframes comprising a first subframe and a later second subframe, wherein each orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol of a second slot of the first subframe is occupied, wherein each of a first three OFDM symbols of the second subframe are occupied, and wherein each OFDM symbol between the first subframe and the second subframe is occupied; and generate a CSI report that indicates the set of CSI parameters.

The apparatus generates S-cell discovery reference signal (DRS) that includes a primary synchronization signal (PSS) based on a cell ID associated with the base station, a secondary synchronization signal (SSS), a cell-specific reference signal (CRS), and optionally CSI-RS. Solutions are described for generating portions of the DRS to accommodate the placement of the DRS in arbitrary subframes.

摘要: An apparatus for use in an eNB, the apparatus includes circuitry to generate an assignment of one or more interlaces to a UE within a cell managed by the eNB, where the one or more interlaces are selected from a total number of interlaces, and an interlace of the total number of interlaces may include multiple resource blocks spanning within a system bandwidth. The circuitry included in the apparatus is further to encode the assignment by a bit string including one or more bits, which may be a bitmap or an encoding bit string. The circuitry included in the apparatus is further to transmit the bit string to the UE. Other embodiments may also be described and claimed.
