摘要: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a user equipment device (UE) to perform methods for network assisted side-link resource configuration for unicast and/or multi-cast/groupcast communications in V2X networks. A UE may, after establishing an RRC connection with a base station, transmit, to the base station, V2X connection information. The V2X connection information may include a V2X identifier associated with the UE and a V2X identifier associated with a target UE. The UE may receive, from the base station, a side-link configuration for data transmission with the target UE. The side-link configuration may include a resource allocation defined in time and frequency (e.g., a transmit/receive pool). The UE may communicate with the target UE using the resource allocation included in the side-link configuration.

摘要: Embodiments are presented herein of apparatuses, systems, and methods for a C-V2X capable wireless device configured to operate according to a first sidelink mode where communication resources are allocated by a network and a second sidelink mode where communication resources are autonomously allocated by the wireless device. The wireless device detects a change in a coverage scenario associated with the first sidelink mode; performs resource sensing for the second sidelink mode; and based at least in part on detecting the change in the coverage scenario, transmits first communications using the second sidelink mode, wherein resources for transmitting the first communications are allocated based at least in part on the resource sensing.

摘要: This disclosure relates to providing early packet delivery to radio link control. A transport block may be received by a wireless device via wireless communication. The transport block may fail a transport block cyclic redundancy check, but a subset of the code blocks of the transport block may pass code block cyclic redundancy checks. Packet data from the subset of the code blocks that pass code block cyclic redundancy checks may be provided to a radio link control layer of the wireless device, based at least in part on the successful code block cyclic redundancy checks for those code blocks.

摘要: An approach to providing an indication of the availability of tracking reference signal (TRS) and/or channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) occasions. Channels for carrying the indication include system information block (SIB) signaling, paging physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), and paging early indications. Various approaches are described that provide the information, including a number of bitmap approaches, a hierarchical informational approach, a dynamic signal indication that carries configuration indices. Additional approaches are described that reduce unnecessary overhead by specifying certain reference signal (RS) occasions as being available.

摘要: Systems, apparatus and methods enable layer 2 (L2) relaying optimizations for a remote user equipment (UE) to receive system information (SI) from a relay UE. The relay UE may establish a sidelink communication channel with the remote UE that is in a radio resource control (RRC) idle state, an RRC inactive state, or an out-of-coverage (OOC) state with respect to the base station. The relay UE decodes a relay SI request received through the sidelink communication channel from the first remote UE. The relay SI request indicates requested system information. The Relay UE obtains the requested system information or a subset of the requested system information from a memory device or from the base station and encodes a relay SI response to send to the first remote UE. The relay SI response includes the requested system information or the subset of the requested system information.

摘要: This disclosure relates to a relay user equipment device (UE) assisting one or more remote UEs in performing a radio access network notification area (RNA) update procedure in a cellular communication system. The relay UE establishes a first relay connection with a first remote device. The first relay connection relays communications between the first remote device and a network. The relay UE transmits a first message to the network to initiate the RNA update procedure for the first remote device, receives an acknowledgment message from the network including updated connection information for the first remote device, and transmits the updated connection information to the first remote device.
