The format of the time information is the same as that of the time data in the navigation information and the time information is used as the low-unit time value of the arrival time of data stream in the case of data search. The error in the start position of each stream object unit, resulting from insufficient resolution of the packet arrival time format, is corrected without additional information indicative of the offset between the start time of a stream object unit and the time value obtained from incremental arrival time information, thereby enabling precise and fast data search capability and increasing recording efficiency.

Depending upon the size of the remaining area of a sector, a transport stream unit is recorded across two sectors with the result that sectors contain no null data. If the size of the remaining area of the last sector of a stream object unit is less than the size of a transport stream unit, the remaining area is padded with null data. The method for recording digital data streams in accordance with the present invention minimizes the size of the recording area padded with null data, thereby remarkably increasing the recording efficiency of a recording medium.

The present invention relates to method for recording program specific information (PSI) for a recorded data stream in an optical disk such as a high-density digital versatile disk (HD-DVD) and providing the recorded PSI to a presenting device such as a digital television. This method writes program or stream specific information in a management data recording area of a high-density disk, and when the recorded data stream is reproduced, determines whether it is time to send the stream specific information, obtains stream specific information corresponding to a stream object being reproduced, or to be reproduced based on the determination result, and transmits the obtained stream specific information. This method can maintain the disk storage capacity for real video and/or audio data by recording stream specific information in a management recording area of a high-density disk, and provide the stream specific information to a digital television promptly when it is necessary, thereby reducing the time duration of blank screen or discontinuity in video and/or audio presentation.

System and method provide an on-line high-performance diagnosis service for cardiovascular disorders. A client requests a high-performance diagnosis by transmitting real electrocardiographic treatment data and magnetocardiographic treatment data of a human body being a treatment object and virtual heart simulation parameters to a medical service server. The medical service server, in response to the diagnosis request, analyzes the real electrocardiographic treatment data to generate an electrocardiographic analysis result, and performs a virtual heart simulation using the simulation parameters to generate a pseudo electrocardiogram and magnetocardiogram. Further, the medical service server determines a disease state of the human body on the basis of the electrocardiographic analysis result, the magnetocardiographic treatment data and the pseudo electrocardiogram and magnetocardiogram, and generates definitive diagnosis data through comparison among the real magnetocardiographic treatment data, the electrocardiographic analysis result, the disease state, and a diagnosis criteria. The definitive diagnosis data is provided to the client.
