    摘要: A method and an apparatus for selecting a location platform for a user equipment to roam and a method for determining the location of the user equipment using the same. The method for selecting a location platform includes: checking a visiting network of the UE in response to a location request message transmitted from the UE which is roaming; and selecting a location platform to calculate a location of the UE by comparing positioning capability information of the checked visiting network and positioning capability information of a home network of the UE. According to such a method, it is possible to efficiently perform the positioning of the UE, regardless of the location of the UE, thereby improving the quality of the positioning service.

The positioning apparatus includes a positioning server, independently constructed on a network, for collecting and storing/managing assistant data that includes orbit information and correction information of a satellite, and providing the assistant data or position information using the assistant data in response to an external request. The positioning server provides the position information of the terminal subject to positioning in response to the request for the position information of the terminal subject to positioning created from at least one network among a plurality of networks that share the positioning server. Accordingly, an accurate positioning result can be obtained with a cost for implementation of the positioning system reduced.

    摘要: A method of fabricating a thin film transistor (TFT) assembly having a plurality of array lines, a plurality of pads, a plurality of link lines connecting the pads to the array lines, an insulating layer, and an electrode pattern formed on a substrate, and further having short-preventing structures for preventing electrical shorts between the pads and the link lines. The method includes the steps of forming the plurality of pads on the substrata, depositing the insulating layer on the substrate including over the pads, etching the insulating layer, to form contact holes, and etching the insulating layer between the adjacent pads to expose a surface of the substrate to prevent a short between the adjacent pads from occurring, and forming the electrode pattern on the insulating layer by depositing and patterning an electrode layer such that the electrode pattern contacts the pads through the contact holes formed in the insulating layer. The steps of etching the insulating layer between the adjacent pads is performed concurrently with the etching step for forming the contact holes. In addition, the areas between adjacent pads are further etched concurrently with the step of etching the electrode layer.

An H-SLP sets a priority order of a plurality of positioning methods which a target terminal supports according to a set priority order set condition and transmits priority order information according to respective positioning methods to the target terminal. Further, the target terminal may receive information about the positioning methods including the priority order and select a positioning method having the highest priority order among the positioning methods, which can be used in its current electric wave environment. Moreover, the H-SLP and the target terminal may calculate a location of the target terminal according to a positioning method that the target terminal has selected. Accordingly, although it is difficult to calculate the location of the target terminal according to the positioning method that the target terminal has selected, a location service of the target terminal can be continuously provided.
