Abstract: Techniques and apparatus for performing sticky client detection and/or remediation with machine learning are described. An example technique includes determining one or more parameters associated with roaming activity of a client station (STA) within a wireless network. The one or more parameters are evaluated with a machine learning model to predict a sliding boundary associated with the client STA, a first access point (AP) within the wireless network, and a second AP within the wireless network. Information associated with the sliding boundary is transmitted to the first AP. A frame including a request for the client STA to roam to the second AP and the information associated with the sliding boundary is transmitted to the client STA.

Abstract: Embodiments herein describe BKDs that can transmit reply messages using different frequencies than the frequencies of wireless transmissions they receive which can reduce collisions in a Wi-Fi environment. In one embodiment, when transmitting power to be used by a BKD to transmit a reply message, an access point (AP) also includes an parameter that affects the frequency used by the BKD when transmitting its signal. For example, the AP can direct the BKD to use a frequency in a channel that is not used by other Wi-Fi Devices. The BKD can be equipped with a frequency filter that can shift the carrier frequency of the BKD response (compared to the carrier frequency of the energy-bearing signal) allowing the response signal to be transmitted on a different frequency than the one which was received.

Abstract: An unsafe frequency report from a client device is received, the unsafe frequency report indicating that the client device is experiencing interference on a set of frequencies. A set of safe frequencies is identified, for the client device, based on interference indicated in the unsafe frequency report, and dynamic puncturing is performed based on the unsafe frequency report, comprising identifying an allocation of wireless resources for the client device during a transmission opportunity based on the set of safe frequencies, where the allocation of wireless resources punctures one or more of the set of frequencies, and communicating with the client device using the allocation of wireless resources.

Abstract: Techniques for wireless communication are disclosed. These techniques include determining that a first wireless access point (AP) has a failure to connect to a controller. The techniques further include identifying one or more neighbor APs, for the first AP, as candidate rescue APs, selecting a rescue AP, from among the candidate rescue APs, and establishing a secure connection from the first AP to the rescue AP. The techniques further includes transmitting diagnostic data from the first AP to the controller using the secure connection from the first AP to the rescue AP. The diagnostic data relates to the failure to connect from the first AP to the controller, and the controller is configured to use the diagnostic data to assist in establishing a connection from the first AP to the controller that bypasses the rescue AP

Abstract: Techniques for wireless communications are disclosed. These techniques include identifying a change in at least one of: (i) a WiFi radio channel or (ii) a cellular radio channel for a wireless station (STA) supporting both WiFi and cellular radio access technologies. The techniques further include determining one or more WiFi radio channels subject to interference from the cellular radio for the STA, based on a network message received from the STA, and modifying one or more parameters for WiFi communication relating to the STA, based on the determined one or more WiFi radio channels subject to interference.
