    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to communication methods and communications devices. In one example communication method, control information is sent to a terminal device. The control information includes a resource identifier. The resource identifier indicates that allocated frequency domain resources are all frequency domain resources that can be supported by the terminal device on one carrier or that some of all frequency domain resources that can be supported by the terminal device on one carrier.

    Abstract: This application provides a phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) sending method and apparatus. The method includes: implicitly determining, by a terminal device based on obtained uplink grant information and a preset rule, a to-be-sent PTRS and an antenna port for carrying the to-be-sent PTRS, where the antenna port is selected from an antenna port set, and the to-be-sent PTRS is one or more of all available PTRSs; and putting the to-be-sent PTRS on the antenna port, and sending the to-be-sent PTRS on the antenna port. This implicit indication method can effectively reduce air interface signaling overheads and improve air interface efficiency.

    Abstract: Embodiments provide a method for transmitting a downlink control signal, and an apparatus. The method includes: sending, by a base station, one or more radio frames, where the one or more radio frames include a plurality of OFDM symbols that carry synchronization signals, each OFDM symbol that carries a synchronization signal is sent by using one or more downlink beams of the base station, and the OFDM symbol that carries the synchronization signal further carries a downlink control signal. The downlink control signal is placed in the OFDM symbol that carries the synchronization signal.

The method includes: A terminal device receives configuration information of a cell, where the configuration information of the cell includes M beam failure detection resource groups and M candidate beam resource groups, the M beam failure detection resource groups are in a one-to-one correspondence with the M candidate beam resource groups, and M is an integer.
