    Abstract: This application provides a switching method, it is determined that a switching delay of a first terminal device switching from a first bandwidth unit to a second bandwidth unit is a first delay, where the first delay is less than a second delay, and the second delay is a switching delay supported by a second terminal device. Alternatively, it is determined that a switching delay of a first terminal device switching from a first bandwidth unit to a second bandwidth unit is one of N delays, where the N delays are switching delays supported by the first terminal device, N is an integer greater than or equal to 2, and the N delays include a first delay. Therefore, switching between bandwidth units may be performed more quickly. In this case, the first terminal device may quickly perform dynamic data transmission within a large system bandwidth.

    Abstract: Example communication methods and apparatus are described. In one example method, a terminal device receives configuration information of a first control resource set, where the configuration information of the first control resource set comprises mapping manner information of the first control resource set. The terminal device determines, based on the mapping manner information, a mapping manner between a control channel element (CCE) and resource element groups (REGs) in the first control resource set, where a REG in the first control resource set occupies one symbol in time domain and one resource block (RB) in frequency domain, and REGs in the first control resource set are numbered in a time-first manner. The mapping manner information indicates that the mapping manner is interleaved mapping.

    Abstract: This application provides a data transmission method. The method includes: A terminal device receives first control information sent by a network device, where the first control information indicates configuration information of the terminal device or used to indicate BWP switching information used by the terminal device to perform BWP switching. When the first control information indicates the configuration information, the terminal device performs information configuration based on the configuration information. When the first control information indicates the BWP switching information, the terminal device performs BWP switching based on the BWP switching information. According to the method provided in embodiments of this application, the terminal device may obtain the configuration information or the BWP switching information by detecting only the first control information. This avoids a problem of high power consumption caused by the terminal device detecting DCI in a plurality of formats or keeping enabling detection in timing duration.

    Abstract: This application provides a synchronization signal transmission method and a communications apparatus. The synchronization signal transmission method and the communications apparatus are applied to the communications field. In the synchronization signal transmission method, a synchronization signal generated and sent by a network device may include a first sequence and a second sequence. The first sequence is a first complex sequence or a sequence obtained based on the first complex sequence. The second sequence is a sequence obtained based on the first complex sequence, and the second sequence is different from the first sequence. Because a correlation processing result between the first sequence and the second sequence is still a complex sequence, there is a good correlation property, so that a terminal device can obtain a relatively sharp correlation peak when synchronizing with the network device based on the synchronization signal, thereby effectively shortening duration required for synchronization.
