Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a communication method and an apparatus. The method includes: receiving configuration information from a first node or a third node, where the configuration information indicates time-frequency information of a SIB1 of a distributed unit DU of the first node; and determining, based on the obtained time-frequency information of the SIB1 of the DU of the first node, an unavailable resource of a mobile termination MT function of the first node, where the first node is an integrated access and backhaul IAB node, the second node is a parent node of the first node, and the third node is a donor node. The technical solution provided in this application can effectively avoid a resource conflict between the MT function and the DU of the IAB node.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a reference signal transmission method and apparatus for a relay node to transmit a reference signal to a base station. The method includes receiving, by a first node, a first configuration message sent by a second node, where the first configuration message includes information about a resource for transmitting a first reference signal. The method includes sending, by the first node, the first reference signal through a first port based on the first configuration message. The method further includes performing, by the second node, a channel measurement on the first reference signal to determine an interference from a first data signal sent by the first node to a third node to a data signal sent by the first node to the second nod. The method further includes sending, by the first node, the first data signal to the third node through a second port.

Abstract: Examples synchronization signal configuration methods and apparatus are described. One example method is applied to a relay network including a first node and a second node, and the first node is a parent node of the second node. The example method includes sending synchronization signal configuration information by the first node to the second node, where the synchronization signal configuration information is used to indicate M first synchronization signal time-frequency positions and N second synchronization signal time-frequency positions in a candidate synchronization signal time-frequency position set. The first synchronization signal time-frequency position is used by the second node to send a first synchronization signal, the second synchronization signal time-frequency position is used by the second node to receive or detect a second synchronization signal, the candidate synchronization signal time-frequency position set includes W synchronization signal time-frequency positions, and W≥(M+N).

Abstract: This application provides a scheduling method, to implement flexible scheduling in a relay network. The method includes: determining, by a first device, information about a transmission time difference, where the transmission time difference is a time difference between a control channel of a first link and a data channel that is of the first link and that is scheduled by the control channel of the first link; notifying a second device of the information about the transmission time difference; and performing, by the second device, scheduling based on the information about the transmission time difference. In this way, the second device determines whether a resource needs to be reserved for the data channel of the first link, and it is possible that a time division resource, a frequency division resource, or a space division resource is shared for data of the first link and data of a second link.

Abstract: A PTRS processing method and an apparatus. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal, first indication information and second indication information from a network device, where the first indication information is used to indicate a time-domain location at which a PTRS is to be sent by the terminal, and the second indication information is used to indicate an offset of an initial time-domain location to which the PTRS is mapped by the terminal; mapping, by the terminal, the PTRS to one or more DFT-s-OFDM symbols based on the first indication information and the second indication information; and sending, by the terminal, the one or more DFT-s-OFDM symbols. In this way, the PTRS mapped to the DFT-s-OFDM symbol is offset at a DFT-s-OFDM symbol level, so that PTRS collision between terminals can be avoided to an extent, thereby improving phase tracking precision.
