A player who purchases such a video presentation may subsequently redeem it for a redemption value associated therewith.

Thus, in some embodiments, a video poker game of the present invention may allow a player to retain one or more cards of a primary video poker game, select a strategy based on the primary game outcome, and receive a payout if the player achieves a winning game outcome in the secondary game.

In order to increase the attractiveness of the bulk purchase of the gaming outcomes, contracts can be offered with options for player selectable features. These features may provide, in some embodiments, (i) enhanced awards for winning game outcomes, and/or (ii) enhanced probability of obtaining a winning game outcome. These optional game play features may be selected individually and integrated into the game offered under the contract. The cost of these optional game play features is either integrated into the overall cost of the contract or priced on an individual basis. In some embodiments, these optional game features may be provided to a player for no additional consideration (e.g., as a prize, bonus, consolation prize, or reward). Consequently, a player is able to customize the base game to the individual players preferences.
