    摘要: Test equipment including a signal generator and a method of generating a test signal associated with an overall frequency band are disclosed. Also disclosed is a method of using the test signal to test an echo canceller. The method of generating the test signal includes generating a first time segment associated with a first frequency sub-band of the overall frequency band and generating a second time segment associated with a second frequency sub-band of the overall frequency band. The second frequency sub-band is higher than the first frequency sub-band. The method further includes generating a time gap segment separating the first time segment and the second time segment.

After receiving a code to begin the troubleshooting process, all legs of the teleconference are muted except a test leg. That test leg is evaluated for echo. The process is repeated for each of the legs of the teleconference. After automatically measuring echo on all legs, results are reported to a moderator or host, who can take action such as muting all legs with echo, or discussing remedial action with each participant on a leg with echo.

    摘要: A vapor chamber heat sink attached to a heat-generating electronic component includes a base (10) defining an opening therein. A plurality of fins (20) is mounted on the base. A heat pipe (30) thermally connects the electronic component and the fins. The heat pipe comprises a plate-type lower portion (32) contacting a bottom surface of the base and a bottom surface (22) of the fins and overlaying a top surface of the electronic component, a plate-type upper portion (34) parallel to the lower portion contacting a top surface (24) of the fins, and a connecting portion (36) interconnecting opposite two ends of the lower and upper portions. The heat pipe is configured in such a manner so as to enhance contact area and thermal conductivity between the heat pipe and the electronic component and between the heat pipe and the fins.

    摘要: A method for the performance testing of an echo canceller including the steps of transmitting a test signal to the echo canceller, recording an echo energy signal output from the echo canceller as a result of the test signal, measuring the energy and duration of the echo energy signal and calculating a performance score for the echo canceller based on the measured energy and duration of the echo energy signal, wherein the test signal transmitted to the echo canceller has a plurality of discrete frequency band segments of white noise representing sub-bands of an overall bandwidth ranging from about 0 kHz to about 3.5 kHz. The test signal preferably has four discrete frequency band segments of white noise, wherein each discrete frequency band segment of the test signal is repeated in succession, whereby the test signal has a total of eight segments. Thus, the test signal can have a first frequency band segment having a bandwidth of about 0 kHz to about 1 kHz, a second frequency band segment having a bandwidth of about 1 kHz to about 2 kHz, a third frequency band segment having a bandwidth of about 2 kHz to about 3 kHz and a fourth frequency band segment having a bandwidth of about 3 kHz to about 3.5 kHz.

The positioning elements extend through the first heat dissipation unit and bottom ends of the positioning elements are screwed into the second heat dissipation unit. Top ends of the positioning elements are secured to the first heat dissipation unit. Therefore, the power adapter is tightly sandwiched between the first heat dissipation unit and the second heat dissipation unit by the positioning elements. Spring forces are exerted by the positioning elements on the first heat dissipation unit toward the second heat dissipation unit.
