摘要: Methods and systems for rapid and efficient development of content-rich customized e-learning programs. In some embodiments, the subject matter expert is presented with a variety of predetermined page types for potential use in teaching a topic. Based upon the page type selected, a storyboard template is provided defining points of a multimedia presentation, the template having guidance for the subject matter expert to fill in information related to the page type. The information can comprise text indicating what is to be displayed, what is to be spoken in a voiceover, and/or what action is to take place on screen. Based upon the content filled into the storyboard by the expert, multimedia animation templates that mirror the storyboard are then filled in and generated for use in an electronic learning format. The templates can be flash movies and can include graphics, animation, voiceovers, videos, interactive mouseover effects, and other rich content.

摘要: A modular tool assembly including a tool base configured to releasably secure a modular tool arrangement in a fixed relationship relative to a mounting surface. The tool base includes an upper housing portion and a lower housing portion having a mounting seal extending therefrom. The mounting seal cooperates with the mounting surface to define a vacuum pocket therebetween. A vacuum generating mechanism is configured to remove air from the vacuum pocket through an aperture in the lower housing portion. A modular tool attachment releasably engages a portion of the tool base to secure the modular tool attachment to the tool base. The modular tool attachment can include a self leveling laser leveling device having a laser light source mounted within a housing to project an alignment beam through an opening in the housing to denote a reference plane along the mounting surface.

摘要: The invention facilitates the computation of expected approval rates based on historic transaction data relating to transaction classes, approved transactions and declined transactions. The invention provides a system and method by which a program administrator for a company may model varying client-imposed limit scenarios in order to determine one or more optimal monthly and/or transactional spending limits. Further, the present invention provides a means for setting varying monthly and/or transaction spending limits for purchases from any number of industries. Providing card members with information regarding optimal spending limits reduces the occurrences of declined credit transactions. A program administrator may also utilize the present invention to provide any number of limit scenarios in order to persuade a card member to increase their client-imposed credit limit to an optimal level thereby reducing the card member's inconvenience caused by declined purchase transactions while recapturing lost revenues by the card issuer.

摘要: Tyrosylprotein sulfotransferases and nucleic acids encoding the tyrosylprotein sulfotransferases are described. Dual isotopes of the enzyme and of the nucleic acids encoding said enzymes have been identified in human, mouse and C. elegans. The polypeptides and polynucleotides exhibit a wide range of homologies. The polynucleotides can be used to transform or transfect host cells for producing substantially pure forms of the enzyme, or for use in an expression system for post-translational tyrosine sulfation of proteins or peptides produced within the expression system. The enzymes can be used to sulfate peptides or proteins requiring sulfation.

摘要: A machine for packaging multiple containers wherein a flexible carrier stock is fed across a jaw drum. A plurality of containers are also moved through the machine whereby the carrier is subsequently positioned over the plurality of containers so that flexible carrier stock engages with one of the containers to form a package. The machine is adjustable to accommodate a range of container heights and sizes, carrier configurations and/or package sizes. In addition, movement of the various components of the machine is coordinated using a drive system and a controller.

摘要: MPEG video compression is an efficient but complex video compression standard. Manipulation of MPEG video usually entails decoding, manipulating and recoding the video, but this is inefficient and causes degradation of the content. The present invention provides a range of transition effects to be generated without knowledge of the video material into which they are to be inserted. The synthesised transition pictures of the invention are inserted between two consecutive I- or P-pictures. Many effects are very efficiently constructed from a small number of explicitly coded macroblocks and a large number of skip blocks. Even for those effects where all of the macroblocks must be explicitly coded, this is done with very little information in each block. Accordingly, the invention allows fast and efficient processing and obviates the need to decode the MPEG to insert the transition and often requires no changes to the existing pictures.

摘要: A flexible circuit board assembly comprising a flexible circuit board having a first portion and a second portion separated by a bendable region and a substantially rigid substrate having a first portion and a second portion separated by a bend region. The rigid substrate has an inside surface and an outside surface. The first and second portions of the circuit board are affixed to the respective first and second portions of the substrate such that when the substrate is bent the bendable region of the circuit board must also bend. The bend region has a recess extending outwardly from the inside surface of the substrate, and the recess is sized to accept the bendable region of the circuit board around a single bend axis when the substrate is bent. The recess provides for a larger bend radius of the circuit board reducing stress.
