    Abstract: A method and apparatus for supporting an early data transmission (EDT) in a radio resource control (RRC) inactive state is provided. The current gNB receives a resume request message including uplink (UL) data from the wireless device, and transmits a logical channel identifier (LCID) for the UL data to the last serving gNB. The last serving gNB transmits UL forwarding user plane (UP) transport network layer (TNL) information to the current gNB based on mapping between the LCID for the UL data and data radio bearer (DRB) ID or protocol data unit (PDU) session ID in a UE context stored in the last serving gNB. The current gNB forwards the UL data to a core network via the last serving gNB based on the UL forwarding UP TNL information.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a mobility management in a wireless communications. According to various embodiments, a method performed by a central unit (CU) in a first radio access network (RAN) node in a wireless communication system comprises: establishing a dual connectivity (DC) of the first RAN node and a second RAN node for a wireless device; providing a service to the wireless device in the DC based on a distributed unit (DU) of the first RAN node and a DU of the second RAN node; receiving, from a CU of the second RAN node in the DC, handover information for a handover of the wireless device from the second RAN node to the first RAN node; performing a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) anchor change from the CU of the second RAN node to the CU of the first RAN node based on the handover information; and transmitting, to the DU of the first RAN node, a message comprising information instructing not to release the DU of the first RAN node after the PDCP anchor change.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for controlling radio resource of a redundant route for a dual-connecting Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) node in a wireless communication system will be provided. The CU of the IAB-donor is connected with a dual-connecting IAB-node via a master cell group (MCG) IAB-node. The CU of the IAB-donor initiates an establishment of a connection with the dual-connecting IAB-node via a secondary cell group (SCG) IAB-node. The CU of the IAB-donor transmits, to the SCG IAB-node, a first information which informs not allocating radio resource for a bearer. The CU of the IAB-donor determines to use the connection with the dual-connecting IAB-node via the SCG IAB-node. The CU of the IAB-donor transmits, to the SCG IAB-node, a second information to request allocating the radio resource for the bearer.

A source node acquires information related to power consumption of a wireless device and transmits a message for initiation of handover. The message includes information related to energy efficiency of the wireless device. The information related to energy efficiency is based on the information related to power consumption of the wireless device. The target node performs admission control and/or resource allocation for the wireless device based on the information related to energy efficiency of the wireless device.
