    Abstract: Methods and systems for SIM management on a DSDA/DSDS device. Methods and systems for Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) management on a User Equipment (UE) are provided. The UE includes one of, a Dual SIM Dual Active (DSDA) UE, or a Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS) UE. A method disclosed herein includes selecting a SIM from dual SIM for at least one application to establish at least one Protocol Data Unit (PDU) session. The method includes selecting the SIM for the at least one application based on, at least one of, UE Route Selection Policy (URSP) rules of each SIM, Local Area Data Network (LADN) Data Network Names (DNNs) available per SIM, a current status of each SIM, and an availability of Public Network Integrated Non-Public Network (PNI-NPN) services for each SIM.

    Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes creating an awareness module on a first near-Real-Time RAN Intelligent Controller (near-RT RIC) that controls a first domain. The first near-RT RIC identifies a second near-RT RIC that controls a second domain, which has a mutual impact on the first domain. The first near-RT RIC creates a first border state that represents attributes of the first near-RT RIC and the xApps of the first near-RT RIC. The first near-RT RIC receives from the second near-RT RIC, a second border state of the second near-RT RIC. The first near-RT RI generates, a policy for the first near-RT RIC and the second near-RT RIC by analyzing the first and second border states. The first near-RT RIC updates a parameter only if the policy allows a requesting xApp to update the parameter.

    Abstract: A system and method for traffic shaping of a hybrid network using Internet Protocol (IP) including a first transport and a second transport, the method including: establishing an on-course line to monitor usage of the first transport over a usage cycle, wherein the on-course line defines a usage-limit of the first transport for a given instant within the usage cycle; tracking a current usage of the first transport over the usage cycle; determining a preference between the first transport and the second transport based on a property of a traffic to be transported by the hybrid network; and adjusting the preference to shift the traffic to the second transport as a distance of the current usage from the on-course line decreases for a current instant, wherein the first transport has a lower latency than a latency of the second transport.
