    摘要: A focal plane shutter adapted for use in a single lens reflex camera and having front and rear curtains with respective charge control gears to be operated in engagement with each other during the winding process. At the terminal end of one cycle of winding operation, these gears are released from positive connection with a film winding mechanism, while the front and rear curtains are held in their cocked positions by separate latches in at least a time interval between a moment at which the diaphragm starts to move and a moment at which the mirror flips out of way to actuate release of the front curtain, thereby an electromagnetic release control for the rear curtain latch is prevented from being disturbed as by a shock which would be otherwise exerted on the rear curtain latch at the start of movement of the front curtain.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method and a device for detecting visibility of the image of an object for adjusting the focus of an optical system. The invention is especially suitable to an optical instrument such as camera, using photo-electric conversion elements having non-linear resistance -- intensity of illumination characteristics such as cadmium sulfide CdS or cadmium selenide CdSe, etc. The invention is characterized in that the photo-electric effect of the above mentioned photo-electric conversion elements will have mutually reverse characteristics depending on the properties inherent to the photo-electric conversion elements, to the arrangement of the electrode and the electric circuit, and further on the state of the image of an object formed on said photo-electric conversion elements. An electric circuit to enhance object image visibility is disclosed which makes use of these characteristics.

    摘要: An image pickup device which includes a device for picking up an image of an object and photoelectrically converting the image into an image signal, a photograph indicating device, for indicating a photographing of the object, an exposure amount setting device, for setting an amount of exposure for effecting photoelectric conversion by the image pickup device and an exposure amount control device, for controlling the exposure amount setting device. The device also includes a recording device, for recording the image signal outputted from the image pickup device, a reproducing device, for reproducing the image signal recorded by the recording device, a change-over operating member, for selectively changing over a recording mode effected by the recording device, or a reproducing mode effected by the reproducing device, an image display device, for selectively displaying the image before recording or the reproduced image in a manner visible from outside, and a control device, for effecting control in response to the operation of the change-over operating member to change over the recording mode and the reproducing mode so that in the recording mode the continuous image signal before recording by the recording device, which has been changed by driving of the exposure amount setting device is displayed by the image display device. At least the image pickup device and the image display device are arranged to form a substantially integral construction.

    摘要: A shutter control circuit which normally responds to ambient light switches automatically to a flash mode in response to a charge signal from a flash unit. The light flash eliminates the charge signal. To prevent the absence of a charge signal from returning the shutter to daylight control, a shutter closing signal is generated before a flash synchronizing contact is closed and hence before the charge signal ends. However shutter closing action is then started only after a delay that provides time for the flash to occur when the shutter is fully open.
