Abstract: An image processing apparatus comprising: a storage unit configured to store image data read by scanning, with a linear sensor including pixels arranged in a main-scanning direction, an original in a sub-scanning direction orthogonal to the main-scanning direction, an acquisition unit configured to acquire inclination information indicating inclination of the image data, and a readout unit configured to read out the image data from the storage unit, with shifting, in accordance with the inclination information, a line position in the sub-scanning direction by each predetermined number of pixels in the main-scanning direction, wherein the readout unit reads out the image data from the storage unit, based on the inclination information, differentiating the predetermined number of pixels between an edge in the main-scanning direction and other parts.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus temporarily stores, in an image memory, image data generated by a front surface reading unit and a back surface reading unit for reading images of a front surface and a back surface of an original respectively. A CPU of an image forming apparatus, at a time of starting a copy job, sets an output frequency of the image memory (transfer rate of image data) to a first frequency F1 that is lower than a second frequency F2. The CPU sets the output frequency of the image memory to the second frequency F2 when transfer of the image data of the first page which corresponds to the front surface of a first original completes.

Abstract: A printing machine includes a scanning unit, a storing unit, a determination section, and an editing section. The scanning unit reads a set of original images from an original composed of a plurality of pages and reads a set of editing images from an original-for-editing for editing the original. The storing unit stores the read set of original images and the read set of editing images in units of pages. When an editing mode is set, the determination section determines whether or not there are original images that correspond to a first editing image which is a first page and a last editing image which is a last page of the original-for-editing stored in the storing unit, among the set of original images stored in the storing unit. The editing section edits the set of original images using the set of editing images based on a result of the determination.
