Abstract:
A camera according to the present invention can use a captured image of a communication target device to identify the communication target device when transmitting data to the outside. The camera includes a formatting section for converting transmission data to a format suitable for transmission to the communication target device identified.
Abstract:
An imaging apparatus includes an imaging unit that includes a shooting lens for collecting an image of a subject to be shot; and an imaging element that forms the image collected by the shooting lens and generates image data through photoelectric conversion of formed image. The imaging apparatus also includes an inclination detector that detects an inclination of the imaging apparatus from a predetermined position, through a rotation around a shooting optical axis of the shooting lens. The apparatus also includes a control unit that changes an operating mode to a switchable state capable of switching between operating modes when a predetermined time has elapsed in a state in which the inclination detected by the inclination detector falls within a predetermined range in which the operating modes of the imaging apparatus are switched to each other.
Abstract:
A camera comprises a monitor which allows a composition of a subject to be confirmed, a backlight which illuminates at least one region on the monitor, an image pickup device and a distance measuring unit for detecting an image condition of the subject, and a backlight control unit which changes the region to be illuminated by the backlight, in accordance with a detection result from the image pickup device and the distance measuring unit.
Abstract:
The imaging apparatus of the present invention can display both real-time images received by an image pickup device and an image(s) recorded on a recording medium at the same time on a display part. The image(s) recorded on the recording medium and to be displayed is selectively switched between image data selected from a recording part in accordance with a shooting instruction and image data selected from the recording part in accordance with an instruction other than the shooting instruction.
Abstract:
In an imaging apparatus capable of continuous shooting, the continuously shot image data are sequentially recorded, and some image data selected from the recoded image data are displayed on a display portion. At this selection, data associated with the shooting period of the image data is divided into approximately equal time intervals, and image data corresponding to shooting time positions of the approximately equally divided time intervals are selected.
Abstract:
An electronic camera comprising an LCD panel for image reproduction and an imaging device is disclosed, in which private information attaching a predetermined attribute to a designated photographed image can be input, and in accordance with the private information, the image reproduction on the LCD panel is prohibited by a command from a CPU.
Abstract:
In a digital platform apparatus of the present invention, a position of a camera mounted on a screen in a display unit is detected by a position detection unit, and image data is transferred from the camera via a communication unit in accordance with a predetermined instruction operation. The transferred image data is supplied from a control unit to a projector via a display control unit. When the image data is transferred, the transferred image is displayed on the screen from the projector. All image data recorded in the camera is displayed in a demagnified form in the vicinity of the camera, and when image data specified by a predetermined operation is transferred into a recording area, a demagnified image of the transferred image data is displayed in the vicinity of the recording area.
Abstract:
A lens replacement type imaging apparatus capable of replacing a taking lens comprises an imaging section which takes an image of a subject through the taking lens. A protective section is provided between the taking lens and the imaging section, and transmits light rays which have entered through the taking lens therethrough. A control section judges whether second cleaning processing is carried out in first cleaning processing which electrically performs cleaning processing for the protective section and the second cleaning processing which physically performs cleaning processing for the protective section. And a control section controls to inhibit the first cleaning processing when it is determined that the second cleaning processing is carried out by the control section.
Abstract:
There is disclosed a camera which detects a face portion of a subject from a shot image to determine whether a shot image is a good shot candidate image from the features of the face portion and a face portion-related image portion. As examples, the features include, but not be limited to, (1) the shape and variation in contour ranging from the vicinity of the face portion, (2) the position of a hand or leg to be determined by similarity to the skin tone of the face portion, and (3) determination made from the detection result of the face portion as to whether the subject is a half-length or full-length figure.
Abstract:
An electronic camera comprising an LCD panel for image reproduction and an imaging device is disclosed, in which private information attaching a predetermined attribute to a designated photographed image can be input, and in accordance with the private information, the image reproduction on the LCD panel is prohibited by a command from a CPU.
