The apparatus includes: a photoreceptor; a toner image former for forming a toner image on the photoreceptor in correspondence with the image data; a toner image receiving body for receiving the toner image from the toner image former and for carrying the toner image; the first transfer means for transferring the toner image on the photoreceptor onto one side surface of a transfer sheet; the second transfer means for transferring the toner image on the toner image receiving body onto the other side surface of the transfer sheet; a fixer for fixing the toner image, being transferred onto the transfer sheet, on the transfer sheet; a discharger, having plural discharging modes, for discharging the transfer sheet; and a control means for controlling the toner image former; wherein the control means arranges a combination of a first toner image formation onto the transfer sheet, being performed with the photoreceptor and the first transfer means, and second toner image formation onto the transfer sheet, being performed with the toner image receiving body and the second transfer means, in response to a given order of pages in the image data or to a discharging mode, selected from the discharging modes, of the discharger.

    摘要： An apparatus for forming an image on a sheet member includes a photoreceptor drum on which a first toner image and a second toner image are separately formed; an image carrying belt on which the second toner image is transferred from the photoreceptor drum; a first transfer device to transfer the first toner image from the photoreceptor drum to a first side of the sheet member; a second transfer device to transfer the second toner image from the image carrying belt to the other side of the sheet member; and a cleaner capable of being brought in contact with anal separated from the image carrying belt. The cleaner is brought in contact with the image carrying belt after the first toner image is transferred from the photoreceptor drum to the first side of the sheet member.

    摘要： An image forming apparatus includes: a photoreceptor drum; a charger for charging an outer surface of the photoreceptor drum; image exposure devices each for exposing the photoreceptor drum to form a latent image thereon, wherein the image exposure devices are provided inside the photoreceptor drum, and are detachably mountable with the photoreceptor drum to the image forming apparatus; a developing device for developing the latent image to form a toner image on the outer surface of the photoreceptor drum; and a supporting member on which the image exposure devices are mounted, wherein the supporting member and the photoreceptor drum are connected through bearing members on both ends of the photoreceptor drum, and the supporting member has an engaging portion for engaging with a part of the image forming apparatus to fix the image exposure devices through the supporting member, while the photoreceptor drum is rotated around the image exposure devices through the bearing members.

    摘要： A color image forming apparatus in which a charging, imagewise exposing and developing operations are repeated onto an image forming drum to register different colored toner images thereon and thereby to transfer simultaneously the toner images onto a recording sheet, includes four imagewise exposing units which are disposed inside the image forming drum and are fixed in a main body of the image forming apparatus.
