    Abstract: According to an example embodiment, a method may include determining, by a wireless node in a cell, a silent resource pattern for each of a plurality of signal waveform types including at least a single carrier waveform type and a multicarrier waveform type, wherein each silent resource pattern identifies one or more resource elements that are indicated as unused by at least one node of the cell for the signal waveform type; determining, by the wireless node, whether a signal waveform type, of the plurality of signal waveform types, for channel sensing is known by the wireless node; performing, by the wireless node if a signal waveform type for channel sensing is known by the wireless node, channel sensing based on a silent resource pattern for a known signal waveform type for channel sensing of the plurality of signal waveform types; and otherwise, performing, by the wireless node if the signal wave form type for channel sensing is not known by the wireless node, channel sensing based on a silent resource pattern for each of a plurality of the signal waveform types.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to apparatuses, methods and computer readable storage media for contention window size (CWS) adjustment feedback. The first device comprises at least one processor; and at least one memory including computer program codes; the at least one memory and the computer program codes are configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the device at least to receive at least one transport block from a second device on a predetermined bandwidth part for a transmission from the second device to the first device, the at least one transport block transmitted in a set of subbands of the predetermined bandwidth part; generate a feedback based on a set of reception states of the at least one transport block in the set of subbands; and transmit the feedback to the second device so that the second device adjusts a contention window size (CWS) for a further transmission from the second device to the first device. In this way, a feedback corresponding to interference conditions with a certain subband may be provided for the CWS adjustment and the signalling overhead is significantly reduced.

    Abstract: A method may include receiving, by a user equipment from a network entity, a first downlink (DL) control signal activating semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) of a first set of downlink data transmissions, the downlink control signal indicating an applicable hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback timing for the first set of downlink data transmissions and receiving one or more of the first set of downlink data transmissions. The user equipment may determine that an applicable HARQ feedback timing for a second set of downlink data transmission previously received with an inapplicable HARQ feedback timing has not been provided. In response to the determination, the user equipment may determine a HARQ feedback timing for the one or more of the first set of downlink data transmissions based a second DL control signal indicating an applicable HARQ feedback timing received after reception of the one or more of the first set of downlink data transmissions.

    Abstract: Various communication systems may benefit from an improved resource block group allocation in a cell. A method may include determining at a network entity a common frequency resource allocation grid in a cell. The method may also include configuring at the network entity a frequency location of a bandwidth part of a user equipment within the cell. The frequency location of the bandwidth part may be offset from a reference point of the common frequency resource allocation grid. In addition, the method may include determining a size of one or more of a plurality of resource block groups within the bandwidth part of the user equipment based on the frequency location of the bandwidth part and the reference point. Further, the method may include transmit downlink control information from the network entity to the user equipment.

    Abstract: A radio network sends to a user equipment (UE) an indication that reduced processing time associated with a reduced search space is operational for the UE. The reduced search space is a sub-set of a larger search space associated with a non-reduced processing time. The network sends to the UE within the reduced search space downlink control information (DCI) in subframe N that allocates to the UE a radio resource. If the allocated radio resource is uplink, the network receives uplink data from the UE on the allocated radio resource in a subframe spaced from the subframe N an amount of the reduced processing time (N+reduced processing time); and/or if the allocated radio resource is downlink the network sends downlink data to the UE on the allocated radio resource in subframe N and receives from the UE in reply feedback (ACK/NACK) signaling in a subframe N+reduced processing time.
