    Abstract: The present invention is designed so that a plurality of channels can be received adequately even when the bandwidth to use is limited to a narrowband which is a part of a system bandwidth. A user terminal, in which the bandwidth to use is limited to the narrowband which is a part of the system bandwidth, has a receiving section that receives a broadcast transport block and a unicast transport block, and a control section that switches the transport block to receive depending on the RRC mode of the user terminal, and, when the receiving section receives both the broadcast transport block and the unicast transport block and the user terminal is in the RRC-connected mode, the control section exerts control so that the unicast transport block is received, based on priorities that are determined in advance.

    Abstract: A method of constructing a codebook with multiple resolution in a wireless communication system includes constructing, with a user equipment (UE), a high resolution codebook using a low resolution codebook, and transmitting, from the UE to a base station (BS), normal Channel State Information (CSI) feedback or advanced CSI feedback based on an instruction from the BS or determination in the UE. The normal CSI feedback includes CSI generated based on the low resolution codebook. The advanced CSI feedback includes CSI generated based on the high resolution codebook. The low resolution codebook reuses beams selected based on a beam selection scheme under a Long Term Evolution (LTE) standard. The high resolution codebook is a high resolution codebook for rank 2. The high resolution codebook reuses a 1-layer codebook of a LTE standard or one of 3-layer, 5-layer, and 7-layer codebook of the LTE standard.

The present disclosure also provides an apparatus for controlling a power. According to the present disclosure, a base station determines a UE group scheduled in each subband and a transmission power for each UE in the UE group.

A user terminal according to one aspect of the present invention has a control section that controls a random access procedure for a carrier where listening is performed before uplink transmission, and a receiving section that receives downlink control information for identifying a plurality of subframes that serve as PRACH transmission candidates, and a transmission section that transmits a PRACH based on the downlink control information and a listening result, and the control section controls reception of a response signal in response to transmission of the PRACH, based on an index of a subframe where the PRACH has been transmitted successfully, among the plurality of subframes that serve as the PRACH transmission candidates.
