Left and right driven wheels are connected to a pair of continuously variable transmissions and independently driven. The driven wheels are increased or decreased in speed at the same rotational numbers by operation of a change lever so as to move a vehicle forward or backward. When a steering angle of a steering wheel exceeds a predetermined value, an inner wheel speed during turning of the vehicle is decreased and an outer wheel speed during turning of the vehicle is increased so as to turn the vehicle. If the steering wheel becomes greater than the predetermined value during forward running of the vehicle at a low speed, the inner driving wheels stop and the vehicle does a stationary turn. However, during forward running at a high speed or backward running of the vehicle, even if the steering wheel becomes greater than the predetermined value, the vehicle does not do a stationary turn. With this arrangement, it is possible to always obtain the optimal steering characteristic in accordance with variations of the vehicle speed or the steering wheel.

The present invention relates to an ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus for radiating ultrasonic waves in a cross section of a subject by color Doppler scan, detecting the intensity of reflected echo, and brightness-modulating the intensity of the reflected echo, thereby obtaining a tomogram of the subject, and also for detecting a frequency-deviation (Doppler shift) of the reflected echo and detecting the direction and flow velocity of a blood flow in the subject, thereby displaying the blood flow two-dimensionally by coloring the blood flow portion in the tomogram in accordance with the detected flow velocity and direction. The apparatus of the present invention has a control means for controlling the scan-timings for B-mode scanning and CFM scanning independently, and thus, the frame rate for B-mode scanning and that for CFM scanning are controlled independently. The B-mode scanning frame rate can be controlled to be higher than CFM scanning frame rate. Therefore, the realtime following ability for displaying B-mode image is improved compared to the conventional color Doppler scan.

A piezoelectric gas lighter has an actuator cap which is mounted on an upper part of a lighter body to be movable up and down between upper and lower positions relative to the lighter body and is urged to the upper position. The actuator cap is depressed toward the lower position to discharge fuel gas stored in a reservoir provided in the lighter body and to actuate an ignition mechanism to ignite the fuel gas. A safety device for the piezoelectric gas lighter includes a projection which is provided on said upper part of the lighter body, a stopper member which is mounted on said actuator cap so that it can be movable relative to the actuator cap along a linear path between a locking position where a part of the stopper member is aligned with the projection and interferes with the projection to prevent downward movement of the actuator cap and a releasing position where said part of the stopper member is out of alignment with said projection and permits downward movement of the actuator cap and so that the actuator cap can be depressed by pushing downward the stopper member, and a spring which urges the stopper member to the locking position. The projection has a vertical surface which extends downward facing toward the releasing position of the stopper member and the vertical surface holds the stopper member in the releasing position when the actuator cap is below said upper position.
