    摘要: An on-vehicle combination switch has a base that is attached to a steering column and formed with first and second recesses on left and right sides thereof, first and second switch units attached into the first and second recesses, respectively, and a rotary connector that connects between a steering wheel and a vehicle body through a flat cable wound in a space defined by a stator housing and a rotor housing rotatably assembled to the stator housing. The first and second switch units have first and second connectors oriented toward the first and second recesses, respectively. A conductor is provided to make electrical connection between the first and second switch units. The conductor has first and second relay connectors connected to both ends thereof. The first and second relay connectors fit to the first and second connectors, respectively. The conductor is provided in the stator housing.

    摘要: A thermosetting powder coating composition which comprises a resin composition (A) having a sea-island type microphase separation structure constituted of a continuous phase (a sea phase) comprising an acrylic copolymer and a dispersion phase (an island phase) comprising a thermoplastic elastomer and a curing agent (B) and in which the total amount of a thermosetting elastomer (a-2) constituting the dispersion phase is in the range of 0.5 to 20 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the resin composition (A). This powder coating composition is excellent in chipping resistance, impact resistance, weathering resistance and appearance properties, and it is particularly suitable for the coating of vehicles.

    摘要: A column switch that electrically connects a steering wheel side and a vehicle side in an automobile using a flexible flat cable (5). The cable (5) is in the form of a spiral and is accommodated in a housing. The housing includes a lower part defined by a base (1) of the column switch (8), and an upper part defined by a rotor (6) having a cancel cam (6e). The housing also has slits (6f) or reflectors formed thereon for a steering angle sensor (10). The base (1) has a hollow cylinder (1a) formed in the middle thereof through which a steering shaft is inserted. An annular groove (1f) that accommodates the flat cable (5) therein is formed to surround the hollow cylinder (1a). The rotor (6) has resilient fastening straps (6a) and an accommodating space (6d) that covers the annular groove (1f). The resilient fastening straps (6a) rotatably engage a fastening portion (1i) formed on the hollow cylinder (1a). With this construction, the base of the column switch and the housing of the rotary connector can be formed in one integral structure, thereby reducing the number of components and overall cost.

    摘要: A rotary connector apparatus for supplying electric power to an air bag mounted on a steering wheel has a stator housing, a rotor housing, a flexible cable within a space defined by the housings and a slidable sheet temporarily fixed by an engaging claw on the bottom housing until the stator housing is assembled. A bearing over the entire periphery of a lower end of the rotor housing includes a thrust bearing and a radial bearing. Crimp portions protruding from the rotor housing are inserted into a cord cover, and the cord cover is secured by crushing the crimp portions. The cord cover covers an outlet for the cord, and a holder for holding an end of the flexible cable is secured to the rotor housing. The holder has an arc-shaped surface on a side of a space accommodating the cable, and a tongue-shaped elastic piece is secured within a recess on the surface to prevent buckling of the cable.

    摘要: This invention provides a rotary connector device which can form a structural portion for fixing an end portion of a flexible cable to a housing by one molding step, and does not require a press mold for separating partially-connected terminals into individual terminal elements. The flexible cable 3 is accommodated spirally in a space defined between a stator housing and a rotor housing. A terminal 4A is electrically connected to a conductor cable 31 exposed from the flexible cable 3. A support 5A is fixed to at least one of the stator housing and the rotor housing. A terminal 4A has a stress concentration portion 41A, and each terminal plate 42A can be separated by bending and removing each connecting plate 43A.

    摘要: An absolute encoder having a coder in which an incremental pattern and an absolute pattern are arranged in parallel and a detector including sensors for detecting the incremental pattern and the absolute pattern respectively. The absolute encoder comprises a discriminater to discriminate a relative phase position of the coder and the detector in one pitch of the incremental pattern from an output of the sensor for detecting the incremental pattern, and a signal generator to generate a synchronizing signal when a discriminated phase position coincides with a predetemined phase position by means of an electric circuit in one pitch of the incremental pattern. The absolute pattern is read on the basis of the synchronizing signal at a position except for the boundary region between the minimum reading units.

    摘要: A headup display apparatus consists of a projection optical system unit installed in the dashboard of a car and a reflection member on the windshield. The projection optical system unit contains an indicator and an off-axis reflective hologram which reflects display light of the indicator toward the windshield, which in turn reflects it toward the viewing point of a driver. As a result, the display is seen superimposed on the exterior view. When external light as from the sun enters the projection optical system unit traveling in a direction reverse to the path of the display light, the off-axis reflective hologram reflects the incident external light toward a direction different from that of the outgoing display light to minimize an abnormal illumination of the indicator surface which would otherwise render the display unrecognizable. Behind the hologram is installed a heat dissipating member that receives infrared rays that have transmitted the hologram in order to dissipate heat.
