    摘要: A brake booster includes a master cylinder which is disposed rearwardly of a booster mechanism including a power piston, or toward a brake pedal. A valve mechanism which mechanically cooperates with an input shaft to produce a fluid pressure differential across the power piston includes a first valve seat formed on a valve body defined by a shank portion of the power piston, a second valve seat formed on the input shaft, and a valve head adapted to seat upon the first and the second valve seat in a direction opposite from the direction which is utilized in a conventional brake booster, or in a direction from the front side of the power piston. The valve mechanism is supplied with a fluid pressure from the front side of the power piston, thereby simplifying the construction of a brake booster of the type described.

    摘要: A single-plate color projector includes a color wheel for chromatically separating light emitted from a light source in time series. An image forming device optically modulates each separated color light in sequence. A driving mechanism rotates the color wheel in a circumferential direction. A reflective marker is rotated together with the color wheel. A detector circuit detects movement of the reflective marker to generate a signal. A driving mechanism control circuit drives the driving mechanism in synchronization with the signal generated by the detector circuit. An image forming device control circuit drives the image forming device in synchronization with the signal generated by the detector circuit, and a time adjusting mechanism moves either the reflective marker or the detector circuit or both the reflective marker and the detector circuit to change a relative positional relationship therebetween.

    摘要: An average value signal of the G two-phase input signal is generated by means of an average value calculation circuit. This average value signal is regarded as a signal in which a one-dimensional low-pass filter process, in which the number of taps is 2 and the filter coefficient for each tap is 0.5, has been carried out for a single-phase signal and the number of items of data then thinned to one half. A two-dimensional LPF circuit next subjects this average value signal to a low-pass filter process to eliminate the high-frequency component (edge component). The average value signal that has undergone the low-pass filter process is then subtracted from the input signal of each phase to extract the edge component of the input signal of each phase. An amplification circuit then multiplies the edge component of the input signal of each phase by a prescribed factor, and an addition circuit next adds this multiplied edge component to the input signal of each phase. The above-described processes emphasize the edges of a video picture that is realized by a two-phase signal and thus realize flare correction.

    摘要: A method for the manufacture of paper comprising the steps of: a) forming an aqueous cellulosic papermaking slurry; b) adding an effective coagulating amount of a coagulant and a flocculant to said cellulosic papermaking slurry, wherein said coagulant is prepared by blending i) an effective coagulating amount of an aqueous conditioned colloidal silica sol with an average particle size within the range of from 1 to 150 nm and wherein the aqueous colloidal silica sol is conditioned by contacting said sol with a strong acid cation exchange resin, and ii) an effective coagulating amount of a cationically-charged water-soluble polymeric coagulant; c) draining said cellulosic suspension to form a sheet; and, d) drying said sheet. The components of the invention are blended together so that addition is simultaneous. The colloidal silica is conditioned by passing over a cationic exchange resin prior to addition of cationic polymer. The term conditioned as used herein refers to the act of passing the colloidal silica over a cationic exchange resin.
