摘要: The present disclosure describes methods of treating fibrous cellulosic materials with sucrose fatty acid ester containing particles (carrier systems) that allow for modifications of surfaces, including making such surfaces water resistance and/or oil/grease resistance. The methods as disclosed provide combining at least one saccharide fatty acid esters (SFAE) with a polymer (e.g., latexes) to form micellular particles and applying such particles to substrates including fibrous cellulose-based materials (e.g., pulp) to form, inter alia, molded products. Compositions comprising combinations of SFAE, a latex and optionally a mineral or other additives are also disclosed.

摘要: An object is to provide a dehumidifying member having a high tensile strength. The object can be achieved by a dehumidifying member including a honeycomb structure. The honeycomb structure includes a planar base material and a corrugated base material, a contact part where a wave top portion of the corrugated base material and the planar base material are in contact with each other, and an air hole. The contact part includes an adhesion part adhered by an adhesive agent and silica gel formed on the air hole side from the contact part. The component forming the adhesive agent differs from the component of the silica gel formed on the air hole side from the adhesion part.

摘要: Oil and grease resistant paper products are disclosed that include a substrate and, on at least one side of the substrate, a continuous layer of a barrier coating, the barrier coating comprising a binder system and a pigment. The barrier coating, when applied to the substrate and dried to form a barrier layer, has a Pigment Volume Concentration (PVC) that is below a Critical Pigment Volume Concentration (CPVC) of the barrier coating, providing a continuous three-dimensional film of the binder system. In some implementations the binder system comprising a latex and a natural binder and/or the paper product further includes a topcoat disposed on a side of the barrier coating opposite the substrate.

摘要: An aramid-mica composite insulating nanopaper and a preparation method thereof are disclosed. A mixture of mica and urea is subjected to a solid-phase ball milling, to obtain nano mica modified with amino groups on the surface, which is then assembled with the aramid nanofiber by stepwise suction filtration according to the present disclosure, to form an ordered nanopaper, thereby obtaining an aramid-mica composite insulating nanopaper with ultra-high insulation performances.

摘要: The present invention is directed to products, such as paper and paperboard products, comprising a substrate containing cellulose and top ply comprising microfibrillated cellulose and inorganic particulate, to methods of making such paper and paperboard products, and associated uses of such paper and paperboard products. The microfibrillated cellulose and inorganic particulate material are applied at the stage when the wet substrate is in the process of being formed on the wire of a papermaking machine, thereby avoiding the additional cost of more extensive equipment and machinery as well as in separate drying of a coating. The microfibrillated cellulose facilitates the application of inorganic particulate onto the surface of a wet paper or paperboard substrate when applied thusly, by trapping the inorganic particulate on the surface of the substrate and by giving the composite sufficient strength and a suitable pore structure to make it suitable for printing and other end-use demands.
