Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a user equipment, a network node and respective communication methods for a user equipment and a network node. A according to some embodiments, a user equipment comprises a transceiver which, in operation, receives data on a plurality of downlink shared channels, the data received on the plurality of downlink shared channels being respectively the same data, and circuitry which, in operation, decodes the data, generates an indicator which indicates whether or not the data has been successfully decoded using the plurality of downlink shared channels. Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a user equipment (UE) that comprises a processor that operates a monitoring function that involves monitoring of a downlink control channel of an unlicensed radio cell based on one of a plurality of groups of search space sets (SSS). The unlicensed radio cell operates in an unlicensed spectrum and is controlled by a base station that is in communication with the user equipment. Further, one of the plurality of groups of SSSs is configured to be a default group of SSSs. The processor determines one group of the plurality of SSS groups for performing the monitoring function, depending on the downlink control channel. The monitoring function is not performed during a non-monitoring time period. The processor determines to perform the monitoring function based on the default group of SSSs, when performing the monitoring function subsequent to the non-monitoring time period.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a user equipment (UE) and base station (BS) involved in an improved physical random access channel, PRACH, transmission. The UE configures, based on a received unlicensed channel access configuration, symbols of an occupancy time of the respective unlicensed channel for uplink communication; receives an indication of a timing of channel resources which are to be used for a PRACH transmission; determines whether or not the indicated timing of channel resources is included within the symbols configured for uplink communication; if successful, performs a clear channel assessment, CCA, for a gap duration before the start of the indicated timing of channel resources which are to be used for the PRACH transmission; and if successful, transmits a random access, RA, preamble within the symbols configured for uplink communication at the indicated timing of channel resources which are to be used for the PRACH transmission.
