    Abstract: Disclosed is a liquid crystal display including: a first substrate; a second substrate facing the first substrate; a thin film transistor disposed on the first substrate; a pixel electrode connected to the thin film transistor and including a first subpixel electrode and a second subpixel electrode; a common electrode disposed on the second substrate; and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, and including liquid crystal molecules therein. The first and second subpixel electrodes include a cross-shaped stem portion including horizontal and vertical stem portions, and a plurality of micro-branch portions extending from the cross-shaped stem portion, a thickness of the liquid crystal layer being 2.4 μm to 3.2 μm, the dielectric anisotropy of the liquid crystal molecule being −3.0 to −2.0, and a pitch of the micro-branch portion being 4 μm to 6 μm.

    Abstract: A color conversion substrate includes a base on which first to third light outputting regions and a light shielding region surrounding the first to third light outputting regions are defined; first to third color filters on the base in the first to third light outputting regions, respectively; a first light shielding member on the first color filter in the light shielding region; a light transmission pattern on the first color filter; a first wavelength conversion pattern on the second color filter and which converts light of a first color into light of a second color; and a second wavelength conversion pattern on the third color filter and which converts the light of the first color into light of a third color. A first opening located in the light shielding region is defined in at least one of the light transmission pattern and the first and second wavelength conversion patterns.

    Abstract: A display device includes a first base substrate including a display area and a peripheral area around the display area; a voltage line disposed on the peripheral area of the first base substrate; a protrusion disposed on the voltage line and including a first pattern containing a first color material and a second pattern containing a second color material different from the first color material; a connection electrode disposed on the protrusion and connected with the voltage line; and a light-blocking pattern disposed on the connection electrode and provided with an opening for partially exposing the connection electrode, wherein the protrusion includes a multilayer portion where the first pattern and the second pattern overlap each other and a single-layer portion where the first pattern and the second pattern do not overlap each other, and a lateral surface of the light-blocking pattern, defining the opening, overlaps the single-layer portion.
