An example electronic device includes a display; at least one sensor; at least one camera; and a processor operably connected to the display, the at least one sensor, and the at least one camera, wherein the processor executes an augmented reality (AR) application, obtains image data of surroundings of the electronic device by using the at least one camera, generates a 3D space coordinate system on the basis of the obtained image data, obtains a first input of selecting a 3D object, obtains a second input of selecting a first point on the display, maps the first point to a first coordinate of the 3D space coordinate system, generates a 3D path connecting the first coordinate of the 3D space coordinate system to a second coordinate of the 3D space coordinate system, on the basis of movement of the electronic device detected by the at least one sensor and movement of the second input on the display, and arranges the 3D object on a plurality of coordinates on the 3D path.

Various embodiments of the present invention relate to an electronic device for providing a service by using a secure element, and an operating method thereof. The electronic device comprises: a processor for acquiring secure state information of the electronic device; and a secure element operating under the control of the processor, receiving the secure state information of the electronic device from the processor, and including a repository for storing the received secure state information of the electronic device, wherein the secure element senses a security-related service request command, acquires the secure state information about the electronic device from the repository, and can process or ignore the sensed security-related service request command on the basis of whether the acquired secure state information of the electronic device satisfies a designated condition. Other embodiments are also possible.

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes an avatar and an operating method thereof. The electronic device includes a display, and at least one processor operatively coupled with the display, wherein the at least one processor is configured to detect a face in at least one image, determine a user avatar corresponding to the detected face, determine a region of both the face and at least one object related to the face, determine a size of the user avatar based on the determined region, and control the display to display the user avatar on the display by rendering the user avatar based on the determined size of the user avatar.
