Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). The embodiments in the present disclosure allow to transfer remaining data between different base stations in a dual-registration interworking process, which provides terminal mobility between 4G and 5G networks without a data loss. Further, it provides the terminal mobility with no data loss without changing 5G and 4G base station implementation through addition of a simple function of new equipment, such as SMF and UPF. Further, it supports different QoS and forwarding path units in the 5G/4G networks without changing 5G and 4G base station functions. Further, it exempts additional function implementation costs for re-ordering in a terminal and a network through in-order delivery of packets to the terminal without changing the packet order during 4G-5G network movement.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a method of registering a user equipment (UE) at a second network via a first network, the method including: receiving, from the UE, a registration request message including at least one of first network identification (ID) information, ID information of the UE in the first network, second network ID information, and ID information of the UE in the second network; selecting an authentication server function (AUSF) of the first network which is configured to perform a first authentication procedure of service subscription authentication for the UE in the first network; performing the first authentication procedure with the AUSF of the first network and unified data management (UDM) of the first network; determining, based on a result of the first authentication procedure, whether to perform a second authentication procedure of service subscription authentication for the UE in the second network; performing, based on a result of the determining, the second authentication procedure with an AUSF of the second network and UDM of the second network; and transmitting, to the UE, a registration acceptance message including information of at least one of the result of the first authentication procedure and a result of the second authentication procedure.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a process and a method for determining an operation to be performed for an object identified by a device. A method for providing a user customized service in a terminal according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: generating representative identification information of the terminal; transmitting, to a server, user information including the representative identification information of the terminal; and advertising the representative identification information of the terminal. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a service receiver and a service provider can use all available services even while minimizing requirements that must be fulfilled. Disclosed is a technology for a sensor network, machine to machine (M2M) communication, machine type communication (MTC) and the Internet of things (IoT). The present disclosure can be applied to intelligent services (services related to a smart home, a smart building, a smart city, a smart car or a connected car, healthcare, digital education, retail business, security, safety, and the like) on the basis of the technology.
