    Abstract: An electronic device includes: a display panel including a plurality of light-emitting elements and a fingerprint sensing region; a fingerprint sensor disposed below the fingerprint sensing region; and at least one processor electrically connected to the display panel or the fingerprint sensor, and configured to identify an occurrence of an event that causes an operation of receiving a fingerprint through the fingerprint sensor to be executed, obtain a first image of the fingerprint by controlling the display panel such that light-emitting elements disposed in a first light-emitting region within the fingerprint sensing region output light, obtain a second image of the fingerprint by controlling the display panel such that light-emitting elements disposed in a second light-emitting region that does not overlap the first light-emitting region output light, and determine whether the fingerprint is a three-dimensional object, by using the first image and the second image.

    Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a display panel including an image sensor arranged to receive incident light reflected by an external object, a first guide structure arranged between the display panel and the image sensor and configured to change the direction of the incident light which is introduced through a fingerprint recognition area of the display panel, a second guide structure arranged between the first guide structure and the image sensor and configured to change the direction of the incident light which is introduced therein after passing through the first guide structure, and a processor operatively connected to the display panel and the image sensor. According to an embodiment, the electronic device performs fingerprint recognition by acquiring image information through the image sensor on the basis of at least a part of the incident light introduced through the first guide structure and the second guide structure.

    Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a light source, a fingerprint sensor, a memory configured to record an image of a reflected light detected when the light source is turned on, and a processor configured to operatively coupled to the light source, the fingerprint sensor, and the memory, wherein the light source may form an irradiation area on a display surface by light irradiation to a display, the irradiation area may include a fingerprint recognition area formed on the display, at least one surface may match the fingerprint recognition area or at least one vertex coincides, and the matched area may form a first area. The memory may store instructions allowing the processor to irradiate light in a designated direction using the light source, obtain a first image and analyze the first image to distinguish whether the object detected by the fingerprint sensor is flat or three-dimensional.

    Abstract: A processor-implemented method with battery state estimation includes estimating a current state of charge (SOC) of a target battery by correcting a first electrochemical model corresponding to the target battery using a first voltage difference between a measured voltage of the target battery and an estimated voltage of the target battery that is estimated by the first electrochemical model, estimating an end SOC of the target battery by correcting a second electrochemical model using a second voltage difference between an estimated voltage of a virtual battery that is estimated by the second electrochemical model and a preset voltage, and estimating a relative SOC (RSOC) of the target battery based on the current SOC and the end SOC of the target battery, wherein the second electrochemical model is based on the virtual battery corresponding to the target battery being discharged to reach the preset voltage.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a channel estimation method of a wireless communication device. The channel estimation method includes descrambling a pilot signal having a unit symbol, dividing the descrambled pilot signal, and estimating a channel value of the wireless communication device. The descrambled pilot signal may be divided into a plurality of frequency resources with a first frequency resource and a second frequency resource and generating a first signal chunk with the first frequency resource and a second signal chunk with the second frequency resource. The channel value of the wireless communication device may be estimated based on the first signal chunk and the second signal chunk.
