摘要: A method and system for remote access to a device is provided. This involves establishing a connection between a local device connected in a local network and a remote device via a communication link; sending a message from the local device to the remote device via the communication link, indicating an online status of the local device; and maintaining an online status indication for the local device at the remote device, until arrival of a message indicating an offline status of the local device.

摘要: A method for remote access to one or more Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) resources in a network is provided. An access policy for discovery of a UPnP resource in the network is maintained. Upon receiving a remote discovery request from a remote requester over a communication link, the access policy is consulted and it is determined if the resource is discoverable. If the resource is discoverable, then resource information is provided to the requester over the communication link.

摘要: A method and system for authentication between electronic devices with reduced user intervention is provided. An authentication process for electronic devices (e.g., CE devices) establishes ownership for secure communication, with reduced user involvement. Device ownership trust establishment allows secured/authenticated communication between electronic devices. The process binds a device to an owner such that the authentication only verifies the authenticity of a device, and verifies the ownership of the device to ensure authentication. This ensures that a device is a valid device that has not been tampered with, and ensures a device has a trusted owner. Ownership binding to a device can be verified and established by trusted third parties without user intervention.

摘要: The present invention provides a system and a method for recycling an inkjet-printing material. The recycling method comprises the following steps: utilizing a wiper configured to withdraw the inkjet-printing material dispensed by the nozzles, and collecting the inkjet-printing material by means of a recycling tank; mixing a fresh inkjet-printing material with the inkjet-printing material collected by the recycling tank, so as to form a reuse inkjet-printing material; and providing the reuse inkjet-printing material to the nozzles. The present invention can greatly save the inkjet-printing material.

摘要: Schema-driven XML parsing techniques allow an XML parser to optimize its parsing process by composing parse and to dynamically generate parsing code components based on XML schema definition for the targeted XML document. These techniques reduce the XML parsing time and reduce the memory requirement during parsing process. Further, a reconfigurable parser is provided which is guided during parsing of the XML document by XML element lexicographical information and state transition information extracted from a schema associated with the XML document. Pre-allocated element object pools may be provided based on the schema analysis to reduce the requirements for dynamic memory allocation and de-allocation operations.

摘要: A method and system for preserving application session states among multiple terminals. An application session state is captured from a first terminal. The application session state is stored on a central storage device or repository server. The application session state is then retrieved from the central storage device with a second terminal. At least one application on the second terminal is then placed in the application session state using the information that is retrieved from the central storage device.

摘要: A system and method for managing a group of networked, heterogeneous devices, wherein the group of devices are regarded as a logically single “device”. This method separates the state management aspect from control aspect, such that applications using this method need not manage the devices and data directly, and as a result can interact with a simplified, single ‘device’, or focus on controlling the simplified, single ‘device.
