摘要: A system for collecting mineral resources on the ocean floor, having an automotive collector for collecting mineral resources, a collection vessel which is connected to the automotive collector so that the collected mineral resources are fed to the collection vessel, and an endless bucket lift device having a number of buckets. The endless bucket lift is lowered from a ship and circulates between the ship and the collection vessel. The circulation of the buckets carries the mineral deposits, collected at the collection vessel, to the ship. The ship has an expansion apparatus having at least a pair of end-rollers on which an endless belt carrying a number of buckets are wound. The distance between the end rollers is adjustable so that the lowering distance of the collection vessel and the automotive collector can be adjusted according to the depth of the seabed.

摘要: A device for detecting concentrations of oxygen in gases by using an oxygen sensor element having a substrate provided with a heater and a concentration cell part in the form of a laminate including a solid electrolyte layer supported on the substrate. The device has a power supply circuit to apply a controlled voltage to the heater to keep it at a constant temperature by controlling its resistance to a constant value, and a current supply circuit which forces a controlled DC current to flow through the solid electrolyte layer in the sensor element to thereby maintain a reference oxygen partial pressure in the sensor element. The current supply circuit is electrically associated with the power supply circuit so as to vary the intensity of the current in inverse proportion to the voltage applied to the heater for the purpose of maintaining the reference oxygen partial presure constant even when the temperature of the concentration cell part of the sensor element varies depending on the temperature of the gas subject to measurement.

摘要: An automatic transmission control apparatus is provided with a control scheme that focuses on the rotational speed differences of the frictional engaging elements and the distribution of torque transferred by the frictional engaging elements. When the automatic transmission is upshifted while in a power-off state, the individual torque capacity of a frictional engaging element being released and the individual torque capacity of a frictional engaging element being connected are corrected by adding a prescribed torque capacity amount to each of the individual torque capacities during an inertia phase of the shift control in which a compensation is executed for inertia related to changing the gear ratio. In this way, frictional losses are induced in the frictional engaging elements so as to absorb the inertia torque and lower the input rotational speed more quickly.

摘要: An automatic transmission includes at least an input section, an output section, first and second frictional engagement elements, and a controller. The input section receives an input torque from a drive unit. The first frictional engagement element has an engaged state allowing the output section to rotate at a first transmission gear ratio with respect to the input section. The second frictional engagement element has an engaged state allowing the output section to rotate at a second transmission gear ratio with respect to the input section. The controller controls at least a gear shift from the first transmission gear ratio to the second transmission gear ratio. The controller controls the first and second frictional engagement elements and the drive unit so as to cancel an inertia torque resulting from the gear shift.

摘要: There is provided a starting clutch control apparatus which is capable of controlling transmission torque of a starting clutch according to changes in accelerator operated amount without preparing a plurality of data maps of torque coefficients in advance. A clutch controller determines a clutch instruction torque based on torque coefficient, engine speed, and engine speed correction amount, and controls the engagement state of the starting clutch according to the clutch instruction torque. Therefore, it is possible to control the engagement state of the starting clutch in response to sudden operation of an accelerator, and to finely control the degree of engine blow-up according to an accelerator operated amount. Only one data map for determining the torque coefficient according to a rotational speed ratio of a clutch input shaft to a clutch output shaft is required to be stored in a data storage section, and hence it is possible to prevent an increase in the amount of data stored in the data storage section.
