Abstract:
For a skin, a non-formed polyurethane resin layer at the surface side and a foamed polyurethane resin layer between the non-foamed polyurethane resin layer and a base member are configured to form an integral and uniform layer over and extent from an injection point to a distant point on a surface of the base member, so that an integral skin foam in which such skin layer and foamed layer are laminated can be molded, under an atmospheric pressure, in a single process, allowing for manufacture of a laminate article with a high degree of uniformity over an appreciable wide range of the article, as well as for provision of a laminate mold goods having the skin and foamed layers formed with a high uniformity along the base member, over the length in a flow direction of skin forming material.
Abstract:
Provided is an on-vehicle device capable of reducing an operation load on a user attempting connection by selecting a mobile communication terminal to be connected according to user's use state. An on-vehicle device which is mounted on a vehicle and can be connected to a plurality of mobile communication terminals includes a radio communication unit that is connected to the mobile communication terminals to perform radio communication. When the mobile communication terminal of the latest connection history is retrieved in a coverage area of the radio communication unit, the mobile communication terminal and the radio communication unit are connected to each other. When the mobile communication terminal of the latest connection history is not retrieved, a mobile communication terminal of a highest frequency of being connected to the radio communication unit is selected and connected to the radio communication unit each other.
Abstract:
A rechargeable battery with a nonaqueous electrolyte using a constituent material, which has high energy density and a high level of safety. The constituent material includes a positive electrode having a lithium compound-containing active material and a current collector, and a negative electrode facing the positive electrode. The negative electrode an active material and a current collector. At least one of the current collectors being formed of an assembly of rectangular sheet pieces. The constituent material satisfies formula S/χ≦α×d, where d represents distance between the current collectors which face each other; S represents the largest facing area in one rectangular sheet piece in the positive electrode current collector and the negative electrode current collector; χ represents aspect ratio of one rectangular sheet piece in the positive electrode or negative electrode current collector; and α is a coeffieient which is a number of 900 to 720.
Abstract:
An electron source forming substrate comprises an insulating material film provided on a substrate surface, where an electron-emitting device is arranged. The insulating material film contains a metallic oxide and has a vacancy, so that the vacancy suppresses diffusion of Na from a substrate thereunder, thereby electron-emitting characteristic is maintained stable without adverse effect due to Na even after long time operation.
Abstract:
An interior panel for covering an air bag module of a vehicle, includes a base layer of hard resin, formed with a breakaway portion to form a deployment door for the air bag module; and a covering layer overlying the base layer, and including a surface layer of soft resin forming an interior surface. The covering layer includes a break guide portion formed between the base layer and the surface layer.
Abstract:
There is proposed a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery having an electrode assembly which is impregnated with a non-aqueous electrolyte solution, wherein the battery can be made thin while maintaining improved capacity, large-current characteristics and cycle life. The non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator and a non-aqueous electrolyte solution. The production process of the battery comprises steps of preparing an electrode assembly by interposing a separator between a positive electrode and a negative electrode, impregnating the electrode assembly with an organic solvent which can dissolve the binder of the positive- and/or negative electrodes, bonding the positive electrode and the separator together and bonding the negative electrode and the separator together by drying the electrode assembly, and impregnating the electrode assembly with a non-aqueous electrolyte solution.
Abstract:
An electron source forming substrate wherein an insulating material film is disposed on the surface of the substrate at which surface an electron-emitting device is arranged. The insulating material film contains a plurality of metallic oxide particles having an average particle size within the range of 6 nm to 60 nm as expressed in a median value, and suppresses undesirable diffusion of Na from the substrate, thereby makes stable an electron-emitting characteristics, without an adverse effect due to the Na diffusion, even elapsing longer time.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an electron source forming substrate provided with an insulating material layer provided on the surface of a substrate, at which surface an electron-emitting device is disposed, wherein the insulating material layer has a plurality of partially exposed metal oxide particles on its surface. Also disclosed are an electron source including a substrate and an electron-emitting device arranged on the substrate, wherein the substrate is an electron source forming substrate as described above, and an image display apparatus including an envelope, an electron-emitting device arranged in the envelope, and an image display member adapted to display images through application of electrons from the electron-emitting device, wherein a substrate on which the electron-emitting device is arranged is an electron source forming substrate as described above.

Abstract:
An error recovery procedure (ERP) in a storage device such as a rotating magnetic hard disk drive is executed to the last step regardless of the established time-out period for an instruction, thereby more reliably recovering from errors. In accordance with one embodiment of the invention, when a disk drive receives a reset instruction from a host during the execution of an ERP, it executes the ERP until the error is recovered, or to the last step without interrupting the ERP. Further, in accordance with another embodiment of the invention, when a disk drive receives a reset instruction during the execution of an ERP, it stops execution of the ERP and holds the number K of the step which was completed immediately before stopping, and when receiving a retry instruction after that, sequentially executes the ERP from the K+1-th error recovery step.
