摘要:
A manufacturing method of a liquid jet head, comprising a step of disposing a liquid flow path pattern containing a soluble resin on a substrate and disposing a coating layer containing a resin forming a wall of the liquid flow path so as to coat the liquid flow path pattern, a step of disposing a liquid discharge energy generation element for generating energy for use in discharging a liquid in a place disposed opposite to the liquid flow path pattern, a step of separating and removing the substrate, and a step of removing the liquid flow path pattern to form the liquid flow path.

An ink-jet recording method and an ink-jet recording apparatus, wherein ink image with high quality and good abrasion resistance without generation of beading and bleeding are formed on recording media, in ink-jet recording using an intermediate transfer body, are provided. An ink image is formed by applying an image fixing component (for example reacting liquid) to an intermediate transfer body, and then applying inks of colors, Y, M, C, and K, from print heads corresponding each color. Then a supplementary liquid is applied to the ink image, and the ink image is transferred to a recording media.

Surface reforming of a polymeric article containing a polymerizable compound is effectively performed by polymerizing the polymeric article in contact with a surface reforming medium because the transfer of the material constituting the surface reforming medium to the polymeric article is enhanced by the polymerization. The surface reforming can be performed locally selectively, i.e., imagewise. The remaining un-polymerized part may be subjected to further surface reforming, e.g., by using another type of surface reforming medium or attachment of powder, to provide an enhanced contrast of surface property. Such an enhanced contrast of surface property can be effectively used, e.g., for production of a printing plate.

An embodiment of the present invention provides a method of forming an image, which allows a high quality image to be formed on an intermediate transfer body including a surface layer with an ink-repelling property, and then to be transferred at a high transfer rate, and provides an image forming apparatus therefor. In the embodiment of the present invention, an ink image is formed on the intermediate transfer body, on the surface of which an oil and a water-soluble surfactant having surface tension in a range between more than 0 times and not more than 1.1 times of that of the oil are present. Subsequently, the formed ink image is transferred to a recording medium.

An object of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a three-dimensional object which method is able to easily manufacture a three-dimensional object using a low-cost apparatus. The present invention thus manufactures a three-dimensional object containing a three-dimensional image by printing a two-dimensional image on print media each having at least an ink receiving layer and a bonding layer, on the basis of an ink jet scheme, and stacking the print media on which the two-dimensional image is printed so that the print media are bonded together via the bonding layers.

An image forming process comprises the steps of applying a first material for improving the wettability of the surface of an intermediate transfer medium to the intermediate transfer medium, applying a second material for lowering the flowability of an ink to the intermediate transfer medium to which the first material has been applied, applying the ink to the intermediate transfer medium, to which the first material and second material have been applied, from an ink-jet recording head to form an image of the ink on the intermediate transfer medium, and transferring the ink image formed to a recording medium.

An ink jet recording method and an ink jet recording apparatus permitting image formation with a high degree of color reproducibility while alleviating the influences of the ink-absorbency of the recording medium and the base color is to be provided. A transfer drum is applied a reaction liquid, and inks of different colors are applied by recording heads to the area applied the reaction liquid to form a coagulated ink image on the transfer drum. Ahead of the step to transfer this coagulated ink image to the recording medium, white ink is applied to at least the area of the transfer drum to which ink dots are to be applied or at least the area to which ink dots are to be applied out of the area of the recording medium to which the coagulated ink image is to be transferred.
