摘要: According to some embodiments, a method for use in a user equipment (UE) of managing a listen-before-talk (LBT) contention window size comprises performing a first LBT procedure using a first contention window size and priority class for a first uplink transmission in unlicensed spectrum. The first uplink transmission comprises an acknowledged transmission. The method further comprises transmitting a second uplink transmission. The second uplink transmission comprises an un-acknowledged transmission. The method further comprises receiving an acknowledgement for the first uplink transmission, and modifying both the first contention window size and a second contention window based on the received acknowledgement. The method further comprises performing a second LBT procedure using the second contention window size and a second priority class for a third uplink transmission in unlicensed spectrum. The third uplink transmission comprises an un-acknowledged transmission.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed herein that relate to multiple candidate starting points for a transmit burst in unlicensed spectrum. In some embodiments, a method of operation of a radio access node for performing a transmit burst in an unlicensed spectrum comprises transmitting a transmit burst in an unlicensed spectrum, wherein the transmit burst spans multiple subframes/slots and the transmitting of the transmit burst starts at one of a plurality of candidate starting points defined in at least a first subframe/slot of the transmit burst that occurs after successful completion of a Listen-Before-Talk (LBT) procedure for the transmit burst. In this manner, a radio access node (e.g., an enhanced or evolved Node B (eNB) in Long Term Evolution (LTE)) has flexibility to transmit a downlink transmit burst starting at different starting positions based on LBT outcome.

摘要: Systems and methods for determining an uplink control channel resource to use for transmitting uplink control information to a network node are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device comprises receiving a first downlink control channel message that schedules a first downlink shared channel transmission, receiving a second downlink control channel message that schedules a second downlink shared channel transmission, and determining an uplink control channel resource to use for transmitting uplink control information to a network node. The uplink control information comprises Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) feedback for both the first downlink transmission and the second downlink transmission, and determining the uplink control channel resources for transmitting the uplink control information comprises determining the uplink control channel resources based on: (a) signaling received from the network node and (b) resource determination performed by the wireless device based on a latest received one of the first downlink control channel message and the second downlink control channel message. The method further comprises transmitting the uplink control information using the determined uplink control channel resource.

摘要: A method in a wireless device comprises obtaining information related to a signal transmission configuration for autonomous uplink transmission by the wireless device, the information comprising: a set of pre-allocated resources for use by the wireless device in performing autonomous uplink transmission on at least one secondary cell established between the wireless device and a network node; and a periodicity associated with the set of pre-allocated resources. The method comprises performing autonomous uplink transmission according to the obtained information related to the signal transmission configuration.

摘要: In one aspect, a wireless device receives a scheduling grant and a grant confirmation signal indicating that a network node has performed a CCA on a carrier and is releasing the carrier for the wireless device. An uplink message is transmitted on the carrier without performing a CCA on the carrier. In another aspect, a wireless device is connected to a first cell and a second cell configured on a carrier requiring an LBT protocol. The wireless device receives configuration messages indicating that downlink transmissions on the second cell are to be scheduled. This can mean self-scheduling for downlink on the second cell and cross-carrier scheduling for uplink on the first cell. The wireless device receives a scheduling grant in the first cell and performs a CCA in the second cell. The wireless device then transmits an uplink message responsive to success of the CCA.

Embodiments include receiving, from the CN node, a first MME Configuration Transfer message comprising a SON Information Reply IE that originated from the target base station and includes a muting availability flag. If the flag indicates that muting can be activated in the target base station, embodiments include sending, to the CN node, a second eNB Configuration Transfer message comprising the identity of the target base station and a second SON Information Request IE comprising a value for activating muting in the target base station.

In some embodiments, a method of operating a wireless device in a wireless communication network includes obtaining a signal transmitted from a network node and determining a physical cell identifier, ID, of the network node based on the signal. The method also includes determining a FH pattern of the network node based on the determined physical cell ID of the network node. In this manner, the wireless device can efficiently determine the FH pattern used and may be able to determine if the wireless device should connect to the network node.
