摘要： A data communication system for a computer system in which a plurality of computers are mutually connected includes: a plurality of computers each having an area to store a command to execute a data communication on the basis of it and a buffer area to store data; a switch circuit to mutually selectively connect the plurality of computers; and a transmission permitting component, connected between the switch circuit and one of the plurality of computers, for outputting a signal to permit the data transmission from such one computer to such another computer; a communication component for transmitting the data received from such one computer by outputting the transmission permission signal from the transmission permitting component to such another computer through the switch circuit; a detecting component to detect the occurrence of an abnormality regarding the data communication from such one computer to such another computer; and a communication control component to abandon the data that is subsequently received from such one computer by outputting the transmission permission signal in accordance with an output of the detecting component. When the abnormality occurs, the switch circuit releases such another computer, thereby disconnecting such one computer and such another computer. When reception commands prepared in the buffer area of such another computer are perfectly used, such another computer abandons the packet which does not include the flag to instruct the continuous reception.

摘要： A direct entry/exit (DEE) door exposes several cells in the cell drum when the door is open. The DEE door is provided so that several storage media can be placed in or removed from the cell drum at once, either manually or automatically. The library apparatus automatically rearranges the storage media to fill the cells nearest the drive, which reduces the time required to locate storage media in the cell drum and place them in the drive. A locking mechanism locks the DEE door when the cell drum rotates, and locks the cell drum when the DEE door is open. Each cell in the cell drum has a skew mounting preventing mechanism and inverse mounting preventing mechanism which prevent incorrect mounting of a cartridge in the cell drum.

The accessor hand mechanism further includes a driving mechanism for moving the first slider along the slide shafts, a pair of fingers each having a front end portion formed with a cartridge gripping portion, a rear end portion formed with a projection, and a pivotal portion formed intermediately between the front end portion and the rear end portion and pivotably connected to the second slider, and a spring for biasing the fingers in a closing direction thereof. The carrier frame has a pair of finger open/close grooves in which the projections of the fingers are respectively engaged.

The apparatus includes two vertical coin cases aligned in the forward/rearward direction and separated from each other through a partition plate and having open lower ends; a T-shaped coin inlet operatively connected to the respective coin cases; a plate-like guide member horizontally secured to the open lower ends of the coin cases and having a coin passing hole the center of which is positioned just under a lower end of the partition plate; a sliding plate mounted on the guide member so as to be movable forward/rearward and having a coin accepting hole which accepts one coin from the coin cases and traverses right over the coin passing hole to thereby drop down the coin through the coin passing hole when the sliding plate is moved; driving mechanism for reciprocating the sliding plate forward and rearward; and a controlling system for controlling the driving mechanism such that the sliding plate is operated according to a given coin discharging manner.
