摘要: The conductive sheet includes a support and a conductive portion which is disposed on the support and composed of thin conductive wires containing metal silver and gelatin, in which gelatin is substantially not contained between the thin conductive wires on the support, and a volume ratio (A/B) of a volume A of the metal silver to a volume B of the gelatin in the thin conductive wires is 0.3 to 10.0. In the conductive sheet, the occurrence of ion migration between thin conductive wires is further inhibited. A manufacturing method of the conductive sheet and a touch panel including the conductive sheet are also provided.

摘要: A method and apparatus are taught for treating polymer webs for obtaining the proper surface characteristics to promote adhesion of photosensitive coating materials and/or layers typically coated thereon. The web is passed through a high-voltage sheath region or dark space of the plasma generated by a powered electrode residing in a discharge zone. The frequency of the driving voltage must be above a lower bound dictated by the properties of the polymer support and the plasma, and it must be below an upper bound beyond which the sheath voltages drop significantly and it is observed that the benefits of this approach diminish. The dark space is generated by a treatment electrode in a treatment zone. There is a counter electrode having a surface area in said treatment zone which is at least as great as the surface area of the treatment electrode. A power supply is included for driving the treatment electrode with an oscillating high voltage at a frequency less than about 2 MHz and greater than 1/t.sub.c where t.sub.c is the charging time of a web surface exposed to a rms ion current in the plasma.

摘要: A support for an imaging element is described, which support comprises a polyester polymeric film having coated thereon a subbing layer comprising gelatin and a multi-hydric organic compound having at least three hydroxyl groups, which gelatin subbing layer coated support has been subjected to a heat treatment to reduce the core-set curling tendency of the polymeric film. Imaging elements for use in an image-forming process is also described, which elements comprise a gelatin subbing layer coated polyester polymeric film support as described above, and an image-forming layer coated on the subbed support. A method for forming a heat-tempered, gelatin-subbed support for an imaging element is also described, comprising coating a subbing layer comprising gelatin and a multi-hydric organic compound having at least three hydroxyl groups on a polyester polymeric film, and subjected the coated film to heat treatment to reduce the core-set curling tendency of the polymeric film. In accordance with preferred embodiment of the invention, the polymer film comprises poly(ethylene naphthalate), the multi-hydric organic compound comprises glycerol, sorbitol, or pentaerythritol, and the heat treatment comprises subjecting the gelatin subbing layer coated support to a temperature of from 50.degree. C. up to the glass transition temperature of the polymeric film for from 0.1 to 1500 hours.
