The triangular wave has a cycle duration obtained by dividing the cycle duration of the generator by product of 3 and odd number, a crest having a level higher than the sine wave at a timing of each first period, and a trough having a level lower than the sine wave at a timing of each second period.

摘要： A disc cartridge having rotatably housed an optical disc (2) is disclosed. The disc cartridge includes a main cartridge body unit (5) having an aperture for the head part (13) for exposing a portion of the optical disc to outside across the inner and outer rims of the disc. In one surface of the main cartridge body unit is formed a center opening (12) into which is intruded a turntable (90) for rotationally driving the optical disc. An inner peripheral surface (81) of the center opening operates as a mounting reference plane along the planar direction when mounting the disc cartridge to a recording and/or reproducing apparatus. The rim of the opening of the one surface of the main cartridge body unit operates as a mounting reference surface (82) along the height-wise direction. The main cartridge body unit has an inserting end side into the recording and/or reproducing apparatus formed as a substantially semicircular arcuate section (7) having, as center, the center of the optical disc housed in the main cartridge body unit.

摘要： Disclosed herein is a recording medium drive apparatus adapted to use a recording medium cartridge. The recording medium drive apparatus includes a holder for holding the recording medium cartridge inserted, an eject lever supported to one of a pair of side plate portions of the holder so as to be movable in an inserting direction and ejecting direction of the recording medium cartridge with respect to the holder, and a biasing spring for biasing the eject lever in the ejecting direction. The eject lever has a supported portion supported to the one side plate portion of the holder and an engaging projection projecting from the supported portion toward the other side plate portion of the holder. When the recording medium cartridge is inserted into the holder, the engaging projection is inserted into an engagement groove of the recording medium cartridge and engaged with an engaging portion formed in the engagement groove. When the eject lever is moved in the ejecting direction by a biasing force of the biasing spring in the condition where the engaging projection is engaged with the engaging portion of the recording medium cartridge, the recording medium cartridge is ejected from the holder.

A current-voltage converter/amplifier detects the electric current and outputs a detection signal. A defective-condition determining circuit determines an ejection condition of a nozzle element based on voltage value of the detection signal.
