    Abstract: The object is to provide a technology that can shorten a routing length of a gate wire connecting a control IC that controls driving first and second semiconductor elements that are connected in parallel with each other, to a gate pad of one of the first and second semiconductor elements disposed distant from the control IC. A first semiconductor element and a second semiconductor element are disposed so that a long side of the first semiconductor element faces a side of the second semiconductor element, and a HVIC or a LVIC, the first semiconductor element, and the second semiconductor element are disposed in this order in a direction orthogonal to a first direction, the gate pad is disposed on the first semiconductor element on one side in the first direction, and the gate pad is disposed on the second semiconductor element on the other side in the first direction.

    Abstract: Provided are embodiments for a system for reducing input harmonic distortion of a power supply. The system includes a power source coupled to a power supply. The power supply includes an input stage that is configured to receive an input signal from the power-supply, wherein the input signal is received at known input frequency, and a converting stage that is operated to convert the input signal to an output signal, wherein the output signal has an output frequency. The power supply also includes an output stage that is operated to generate output power based on the output signal, and a controller that is configured to provide control signals to the output stage of the power supply to modify the output signal. Also provided are embodiments for a power supply and method for reducing input harmonic distortion of the power supply.

    Abstract: A system that may include, plural inverters connected to a common bus and at least one capacitor, the inverters configured to convert a direct current (DC) through the common bus to an alternating current (AC) by alternating different switches of the inverters between open and closed states in a respective switching cycle for each of the inverters, and a controller circuit configured to reduce a ripple current conducted onto the common bus to the inverters, by controlling the inverters to apply a frequency shift to the respective switching cycle of one or more of the inverters to spread a harmonic current spectrum along the common bus. The controller circuit is configured to apply the frequency shift to at least a first inverter and a second inverter of the plural inverters.

    Abstract: A control apparatus for is a rotating electric machine applied to a control system including a power conversion circuit, a rotating electric machine, and a capacitor. The control apparatus selects two types of active voltage vectors that sandwich a command voltage vector that is applied to a rotating electric machine from a power conversion circuit and have a phase difference of 60 degrees therebetween. The control apparatus selects, of two types of active voltage vectors that sandwich the command voltage vector and have a phase difference of 120 degrees therebetween, one of two types of active voltage vectors that differs from the two types of active voltage vectors selected earlier, based on a driving state of the rotating electric machine. The control apparatus controls the power conversion apparatus to perform switching operations to control the rotating electric machine, based on the selected three types of active voltage vectors.
