Abstract: The object is to provide a technology that can shorten a routing length of a gate wire connecting a control IC that controls driving first and second semiconductor elements that are connected in parallel with each other, to a gate pad of one of the first and second semiconductor elements disposed distant from the control IC. A first semiconductor element and a second semiconductor element are disposed so that a long side of the first semiconductor element faces a side of the second semiconductor element, and a HVIC or a LVIC, the first semiconductor element, and the second semiconductor element are disposed in this order in a direction orthogonal to a first direction, the gate pad is disposed on the first semiconductor element on one side in the first direction, and the gate pad is disposed on the second semiconductor element on the other side in the first direction.

Abstract: Provided are embodiments for a system for reducing input harmonic distortion of a power supply. The system includes a power source coupled to a power supply. The power supply includes an input stage that is configured to receive an input signal from the power-supply, wherein the input signal is received at known input frequency, and a converting stage that is operated to convert the input signal to an output signal, wherein the output signal has an output frequency. The power supply also includes an output stage that is operated to generate output power based on the output signal, and a controller that is configured to provide control signals to the output stage of the power supply to modify the output signal. Also provided are embodiments for a power supply and method for reducing input harmonic distortion of the power supply.

Abstract: The invention relates to a control device for an inverter which includes three half-bridges each having a first power switching element connected to a first DC voltage potential and a second power switching element connected to a second DC voltage potential. Abstract: The invention relates to the discharging of a DC link capacitor in an inverter arrangement, thereby allowing, for example, a DC link capacitor to be discharged while an electric machine that is connected to the inverters can operate in an idling mode as a safe mode. Abstract: In a control unit for drive-controlling a switching element unit of each power conversion device, a voltage correction amount calculation unit calculates a correction amount corresponding to voltage drop due to impedance between the switching element unit and filter reactor. A voltage command correcting unit corrects a voltage command generated by the voltage command generation unit, using the correction amount. Thus, for a power conversion device 21 that has a small output impedance, correction is performed so as to increase the output impedance, and a PLL unit changes the frequency in accordance with active power calculated from output voltage and output current of the power conversion device, so as to uniform power allocations.

Abstract: A control apparatus for is a rotating electric machine applied to a control system including a power conversion circuit, a rotating electric machine, and a capacitor. The control apparatus controls the power conversion apparatus to perform switching operations to control the rotating electric machine, based on the selected three types of active voltage vectors.
