摘要: A peeling device according to one aspect of the invention peels off part of a peel-off paper from a peel-off paper-backed adhesive tape which is a laminate of a substrate tape having a surface coated with an adhesive and a peel-off paper affixed to the substrate tape via the adhesive. A rotational member is rotated by a driving force transmitted from a drive source. On an end face of the rotational member there are arranged a peeling projection rotated to be brought into contact with a substrate tape-side surface of an end of the peel-off paper-backed adhesive tape to carry out a bending releasing action on said end portion of the adhesive tape. The adhesive tape is guided toward the peeling projection when it is inserted and part of the end portion other than a free end brought to the peeling projection is held. In a tape processing device for processing a peel-off paper-backed adhesive tape, according to another aspect of the invention, a trimming mechanism trims one end of the peel-off paper-backed adhesive tape, while a peeling mechanism peels off a peel-off paper from the peel-off paper-backed adhesive tape. The driving force is transmitted to the trimming mechanism and the peeling mechanism from a simple drive force. There is also provided a tape printing apparatus incorporating the tape processing device.

摘要: Disclosed is a fail-safe optical connector including a plug having an engagement portion and a receptacle for mating with the plug. The receptacle has a resilient latch for coupling with the engagement portion of the plug. The plug has a cover slidably mounted thereon with at least one actuating piece formed on its front side. The actuating piece has a trapezoidal projection formed on its free end. The trapezoidal projection abuts the engagement projection of the latch to disengage it from the engagement portion of the plug when the cover moves backward. The plug has at least one latch projection formed on either side of the front end adapted to mate with and aperture in a yieldable wall on the receptacle.

摘要: The present invention provides a novel structure of a tape cartridge accommodating a printing tape and an ink ribbon used for printing, which prevents the printing tape from being stuck in a cartridge case or the ink ribbon from being slackened. The tape cartridge of the invention has a mechanism for preventing an end of the tape from being reversely moved back into the cartridge case. A typical structure of the mechanism includes an anti-inversion system which prevents a tape core having a tape wound thereon from rotating in a reverse direction, that is, a direction opposite to a normal rotating direction for printing. The anti-inversion effects are removed when the tape cartridge is set in a printing device such as a tape writer to ensure smooth feeding of the tape for printing. When the tape is forcibly pressed back into the cartridge case, a movable platen clamps the tape between the platen and a fixed wall to prevent reverse movement of the tape. The tape cartridge of the invention also includes an anti-slack mechanism for preventing slack of the ink ribbon through engagement of a ribbon winding core with an anti-rotational engagement piece. Engagement of this anti-slack mechanism is also released when the tape cartridge is set in the printing device.

摘要: There are provided a printing method of printing an image of characters, figures or the like on a plate-making surface of a plate-making sheet, and an apparatus therefor. The apparatus feeds a plate-making sheet by a predetermined amount assigned to a forward end of the plate-making sheet when the forward end is detected by a sensor. When a mark for detection provided on the plate-making sheet is detected during the feeding of the plate-making sheet by the predetermined amount assigned to the forward end, the apparatus further feeds the plate-making sheet by a predetermined amount from a position of the plate-making sheet where the mark for detection is detected, to thereby locate the start of an image-forming area of the plate-making sheet. On the other hand, when the mark for detection is not detected, the apparatus continues feeding of the plate-making sheet. The apparatus executes printing based on print data in response to an instruction for printing while feeding the plate-making sheet, when the start of the image-forming area of the stamp-making surface of the plate-making sheet has been located.

摘要: A semiconductor device with a memory cell having a transfer transistor and a storage capacitor is provided, which is capable of further miniaturization of the storage capacitor. The transistor is formed in an active region of a semiconductor substrate. An insulating layer is formed on the substrate to cover the active region. The insulating layer has a penetrating opening extending to a source/drain region of the transistor. A first cylindrtical electrode is formed in the opening of the insulating layer to be electrically connected to the first source/drain region. A second cylindrtical electrode is formed in the opening of the insulating layer in the inside of the first electrode to be concentric with the first electrode. A dielectric layer is formed on the insulating layer to cover the surface of the first and second electrodes. A third electrode is formed on the dielectric to be opposite to the first and second elecgrodes through the dielectric layer. The first and second electrodes constitute a storage electrode of the storage capacitor, and the third electrode constitutes a plate electrode thereof.
