Abstract:
Movable guides are moved in vertical direction by guide drive units between a retreating position and a protruding position. A setting section is provided for setting a contact start point on a sheet and a contact end point on the sheet. The movable guides are moved between the retreating position and the protruding position so as to keep contact with an area of the sheet from the contact start point to the contact end point while a product separated from the sheet is conveyed from a first conveying unit to a second conveying unit.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for buffering and processing loose rod-like articles including a feeder belt in communication with an inlet rotary portion, an intermediate rotary portion in communication with the inlet rotary portion and a discharge rotary portion, and a discharge belt in communication with the discharge rotary portion. The inlet rotary portion, intermediate rotary portion, discharge rotary portion define a transit path that serves buffering and/or processing purposes for a rod segment or rod segment group. Mechanical separators are distributed circumferentially about a periphery of each of the rotary portions, with processing compartments formed between respective mechanical separators to receive the rod segment or rod segment group. One or more supplementary processing zones are distributed adjacent a circumference of one or more rotary portions with an assembly proximate the supplementary processing zones. The assembly exerts a controlled process transversely through the transit path.
Abstract:
Agricultural apparatuses for collecting, cutting, and/or processing produce. The agricultural apparatus include a feed conveyor, a first belt, a second belt, where the second belt is spaced apart from the first belt, a processing station, the processing station including a housing mounted to the feed conveyor, a first rotating blade, and a second rotating blade that is spaced apart from the first rotating blade, where the first rotating blade and the second rotating blade are at least partially encapsulated by the housing.
Abstract:
A waste recycling mechanism is disposed on a film cutting machine and includes a fixing plate fixed to a cutting template of the film cutting machine, a pressing-head device disposed on the fixing plate, a tape, a tape reel and a collection device disposed on a platform of the film cutting machine. The tape is wound on the tape reel and is connected to the collection device after being wound on the pressing-head device. When the fixing plate moves downward with a cutting motion of the cutting template, the pressing-head device presses a film waste to make the tape attached to the film waste. When the fixing plate moves upward, the collection device reels in the tape to make a portion of the tape having the film waste separate from the pressing-head device and make a portion of the tape without any film waste wound on the pressing-head device.
Abstract:
A waste strip-removing apparatus for use with a ripsaw that saws an incoming board into one or more usable boards and removes the opposite side edges, which become two waste strips that must be removed and transported to a different destination from that to which the usable board(s) is (are) transported. The apparatus includes two air-blasting units each having one or more air nozzles assigned to each waste strip. The air-blasting units are positioned with respect to a lateral direction by a positioning mechanism so that air directed from the nozzles impinges on the waste strips and moves them laterally away from the usable board(s). The positioning mechanism can include a linear motor having two forcers movable along a platen and respectively attached to air-blasting units.
Abstract:
An apparatus is provided for processing mail by severing an edge of each envelope in a stack of mail. The apparatus includes an input bin for receiving a stack of mail. A feeder feeds the bottom envelope from the input bin to a transport that conveys the envelope along an envelope path. A cutter positioned along the envelope path severs one edge of the envelopes. A detector detects a characteristic of the envelope and a sorter sorts the envelope in response to the detected characteristic.
Abstract:
The apparatus includes a slicing machine (1) for cutting rows of slices (A) from several pieces of food product, and a loading unit (2) comprising a set of array-forming conveyor belts (7a, 7b, 7c) arranged in parallel, a device for aligning each of the array-forming conveyor belts (7a, 7b, 7c) with the slicing machine (1) for receiving successive rows of slices (A) arranged in a direction transverse to the forward movement direction while the array-forming conveyor belt is made to move forward synchronously with the operation of the slicing machine (1) until forming a partial array of slices (A) on each array-forming conveyor belt, and a transfer device for transferring a complete array of slices (A) formed by the partial arrays from the array-forming conveyor belts (7a, 7b, 7c) to a moving conveying surface.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for producing an article. The method includes providing a fiber material, splitting the fiber material with a splitting roller having a set of grooves that extend continuously around a circumference of the splitting roller, and cutting the fiber material to a desired length.
Abstract:
A sheet cutting device includes a conveyance unit configured to convey a sheet, a cutting unit configured to cut the sheet conveyed by the conveyance unit, and a conveyance belt configured to convey a cut piece cut from the sheet cut by the cutting unit in a direction orthogonal to a conveyance direction of the conveyance unit.
Abstract:
A recording medium cutting apparatus includes a conveyance unit configured to convey a recording medium, a conveyance path through which the recording medium to be conveyed by the conveyance unit passes, a cutting unit configured to cut the recording medium, a discharge port provided on the midway of the conveyance path, for discharging a portion cut off the recording medium by the cutting unit from the conveyance path, and a discharge unit configured, when the recording medium is cut, to come into contact with the recording medium from an opposite side to the discharge port, to cause a portion to be cut off of the recording medium to be positioned toward an outside of a conveyance path from the discharge port.
